Wasn't Dominic Fortune supposed to be a Nazi-hunter who hated them because he was a Holocaust survivor (I think he was based on Simon Wiesenthal). He looks so young and dynamic on that 'Web' cover. If that issue came out today, the character would be pushing a walker across the cover. I guess the character would be pretty much impossible today.

Makes you wonder what they'll do with the origins of characters like the Punisher and Magneto whose history is tied with real historical events that age them to an impossible degree as time marches on.

^^ Yeah, and it's really sad to think about. I still wish it was happening. :csad:

I don't. The script sounded terrible. Don't know if this Marc Webb movie will be any better though (the shots of his costume certainly don't fill me with hope).

I will be sad when this countdown is over though. I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

I should clarify... script details, notes about how troubled the production was, not the actual script per se. But all the news coming out of the production made it sound terrible.

True.

Then I am demanding ( grammar?) to make Sony to tell us what the hell went on last January and everything.

SONY:indy:

Sony wanted Vultress, when, if I remember correctly, Sam wanted BLack Cat. Sony promised him creative control, but they lied, btw.

^^ Agreed. I mean, I'm excited for TAS, but we should have gotten S-M4 and I'm still extremely pissed about it.

Super-villains created specifically for super-hero movies (instead of being properties from the book) always suck. That's something the studios will never understand.

SM3 would have been a decent movie without Sony butting in and shoehorning Venom into the whole thing (and with it emo-Peter).

^^ Agreed. Why would Sony hate the idea of BLack Cat? I really don't understand and I'm sure Sam felt the same we do. Btw, have you seen Vultures design for S-M4 that was released about 2 weeks ago? He was going to look awesome.

As for S-M3, I still love it. However, S-M2 (2004) is my favorite comic book movie of all time with S-M (2002) coming in at a very close second.
