ok... I admit.. Daredevil is pretty good. But better than Breaking Bad (five seasons of awesome)....you're getting way ahead of yourself. Maybe its better than BrB's first season...

Well folks remember this is just my opinion. You can feel however you want but for me, as a life long comic book fan, this delivers everything I would want in a show. I watched BrBa from season 1 well before most folks had ever heard of it and believe me when I say I never thought I would be saying a show outright tops it in my eyes (especially so soon) but for me it does.

You should change your stage name to DJ Hyperbole.

It's possible, but a lot of people have these grandiose opinions only after one episode. It's too much too soon.

It's all relative. I don't agree with DJ that it can compare to shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul or Hannibal. But compared to all the other superhero fare on TV it's like Citizen Kane, imo.

It's pretty good. I'm starting episode 3 and I'm interested in seeing where it goes. It's not amazing or anything but I pity the parents that let the kids watch this because they think because it's superheroes it's going to be nice and fluffy.

Also, I like the mentions of the Avengers events they have. It's a nice world building bit.

I actually don't care for Citizen Kane myself, but it's the go-to "masterpiece" analogy so I used it, lol.

Watching the DD pilot right now.
As far as pilots go.
The Flash > Every other comic book TV series.
Could be because I like the character more than the others, could be because I like fun more than grimdark, could be because the overall show is just more entertaining.

It's not an untouchable classic, but it's a good movie.

If Marvel had kicked off their TV plans with Daredevil and missed out the first season of AoS the "MTVU" would be huge right now. As it is it will (deservedly) struggle to get the exposure it deserves.

Sounds like a fair assessment to make. Arrow is the only other superhero show I currently watch so there isn't much to compare it with in my particular case. I'm just eagerly waiting until The Flash is on Netflix. Maybe then I'll have a better idea of where DD fits.

I've seen most of the first season of Flash and the first two of Arrow. I have to say it's better than the first season of Arrow and about the same as Flash minus the SPBs running around destroying ****. I'm sure they'll get to that eventually though.
