I have this weird idea for a story that I think might be fun.
All the Marvel Universe losing every bit of super powers, everything.
Asgardians and Olympians exit the Earth, their powers stand to them.
Every radioactive power is gone.
The only characters to stay in their roles are Iron Man, Moon Knight and Punisher.

They did that as an Elseworlds for DC and it was ****ing ****. It's called Act of God. It had everyone with superpowers losing them although they didn't make much sense about who lost what. For example Superman lost all his abilities even though they weren't super powers but natural extensions of his own biology, same with the other aliens. All the Green Lanterns rings stopped working despite it just being advanced technology and so on. All the characterizations were ****ed up too, Lois leaving Clark because he wasn't Superman anymore, Wonder Woman turning Christian for no reason despite having talked with and fought her own gods for years. It was a complete ****fest and was received like you'd like it would be.

If it had been written properly with an interesting story, good characterization and something that made ****ing sense then it would have been better received. It's not even fun like Santa Superman at Earths End with the Hitler Twins.

I say go for it. Just take a peek through Act of God to see what not to do.

I think an event like that would be good to reunite Peter and MJ, if they won't really reunite them in "Renew Your Vows" stuff.

It's actually Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate I'm playing at the moment. Been grinding High Rank Quests because I am a completionist.

They should use the buddy-up on Monster Hunter tactic.

But then again it would probably be the scenario I've often experienced online where one person does well but the other 3 fail the quest by dying to the monster.

Dude, you have to play Monster Hunter to understand that. But in a nutshell online allows up to 4 people to participate in quests with one another. You have a target monster or objective. If you fail three times by dying you fail the Quest. Sometimes one person dies 3 times or three different people die during a quest. Seriously, you can have one person doing well but it's rendered obsolete if the others fail 3 times.

I don't know how it works. Is it a team thing where the team proceeds even if some guys die during the fight or only the survivors proceed?

It's a team battle but like I said you have only 3 lives during a Quest. If any of your team members fail 3 times whether it's one person failing thrice or three different people, etc. etc. you fail the quest and go back to the Gathering hall in defeat and have to post the quest all over again until you win.

I happened to find a NYTimes Magazine in my place today from November, 2014. There is a piece that touches on Gamergate in it. Man... That clustercuss nonsense was annoying as all get out. I REALLY hope that the people that got caught up in it, the frenzy, the over the top emotions and pseudo-intellectual posturing look back now and think to themselves... "Man... I was a real schnickerdoodle." Is the poster here that was the one to really keep that thread going still active? And yes, I am asking so that I can point and laugh.
