The inevitable vampire spoof movie is coming

I'm sorry, but I will not justify ANYTHING regarding those 2 ******s of directors until they make something of GOOD QUALITY. By now, even Uwe Boll has proven he's at least an decent director after all with Rampage, and that's saying a LOT given Boll's past films. Ugh. But anyway, until Frieberg and Seltzer wise up and do something that's both good and DIFFERENT from their current spoof crap, I say screw 'em.

People are idiots and filth. So I don't know why this movie's success surprises anyone.

Wow. Way to take it overboard. These movies are crap but there's no need to call people inherently bad for liking them.

Vampires Suck is pretty bad, although it's a significant improvement over Seltzerberg's previous few movies. Instead of random pop culture gags every 5 seconds, there's one every 5 minutes. And they actually had a budget to work with, and you can tell they tried to emulate the look of the first Twilight film.

I did crack a smile several times, especially the end scene at the prom. The end coda would've been side-splitting if the comedic timing and editing was much better. The most clever thing about the film was that they even had Twilight-style rock songs playing during the end credits, but with ridiculous lyrics like "Sexting dirty pics of me in my panties."

But still, it's a far cry from the superior spoof films like Naked Gun or Airplane!. But it's just boring and monotonous compared to the eye-gouging awfulness that was Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie.

I think it has less to do with the directors and more to do with how easy it is to dump on twilight

Twilight sucks anyway. It's a joke unto itself. So why parody it? Because Seltzerberg needed money, that's all I can think of.:csad:

it just blows my mind that these movies still some how make money and get people to go to them. It just feels like whenever I see these movies they come down to nothing more then a guy in the back of the room yelling "hey look at me". I wonder if people saw this thinking it really had something to do with twilight?

well if they're stupid enough to like twilight they're stupid enough to like this crap.

ok, you seriously need to reevaluate yourself if you think you are better than other people because they enjoy a franchise you don't. I don't like twilight, but I'm not going to say somebody has to be stupid to enjoy it. please get over this elitist fantasy you have.

The only reason I saw this movie is because Pirannah 3D was sold out and it was the only show that would let out in time for me to get to work before my shift started.

This movie was a total snoozer. I at least laughed at a couple of scenes in Meet The Spartans, but this barely made me grin. The only scene I found remotely funny was when Edward told Becca that she would never get hurt as long as she was with him, then the satelite dish falls on her head. If it had stopped there it would've been a funny gag, but then they had all these bricks and 2 x 4s falling on her right after.

I had a friend in highschool who was like that with jokes. He'd say something funny and I'd laugh. Then he'd try and make it funnier by adding more and more to it. Soon the joke was just no longer funny. Just hit the punchline and move on, that's the secret to good comedy.

I didn't say they have to be stupid i said they are stupid.

I just saw it but only after paying to see Piranha 3D and then sneaking into see Vampires Suck, while it was slightly funnier than the previous parody flicks of this duo at least they limited the TV/movie references to a few and the MAD TV players didn't play multiple characters.

Also noticed and was a bit shocked that neither Carmen Electra or Kim Kardashian were in the movie which was a good thing.

I can't even hate the guys. They just look for a way to make quick money. And releasing trash seems to work for them. I'm disappointed by the people that actually go watch these movies.
And the bad thing is those same people will eventually buy the DVD/BR because they don't know any better.
