the invisible woman versus????

i think i've found the perfect opponent for sue to tangle with strictly hand to hand
JESSICA ALBA:ff:

I know she can't now that I think about it, what I meant was I would really love to see her face an opponent that she could really lash out with the full extent of her powers.

Like for instance forming Wolverine like claws with her field, you know something creative than what she normally uses her powers for. Can you imagine if some villian does to Susan like what Psycho-Man did to her, and turns her into an assassin or some such.

Susan has the potential to become one of the most deadliest geneticaly altered beings in the marvel Universe, if it wasn't for her compassion to help those in need---whew--- just think of the carnage she could do.

Very true, I think thats part of why her character is so cool.....

I agree with you, Susan's compassion makes her one of the unique female heroines at both Marvel and DC. And I think that's why she's has been and will always remain my favorite female character.

Something just hit me and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Susan the first female comic character to not only marry but also to become pregnant? Which I just want to say even though it's decades late, cudos to marvel for showing the whole nine month long pregnancy with not only Frank, but also with Val. Of course she supposedly lost Val in child birth which I believe was another first in comics, of course that great moment in F.F. history was destroyed with whomever came up with the idea of having Franklyn use his powers like he did. He or she should be taken out tarred and feathered for destroying for that.

I for one liked the concept of Susan and Doom having a child together, but no they throw that into our faces... oops I'm babbling and going off topic. I apologize for that folks, before I shut up I have one question to ask all of you. Who would you love to see Susan battle?

Keep safe.

phoenix would destroy her, cant phoenix destory galaxies? id like to see Sue fight Juggernaut. i get the feeling though it would be a never ending fight, unless Sue is now a telepath? if she isnt theres no way she could hurt him, i guess he would be able to walk through her forcefields since nothing can stop him, but she can easily stay ahead of him and i dunno piss him off until he gets bored and leaves

I believe that Terrax created the forcefield around Manhattan. Sue made it visible. Galactus has an almost infinite number of ways to defeat Sue that do not involve breaking her forcefield such as sending an energy bolt through another dimension or even time to reemerge inside her field. Telepathy has also been known to go straight through her field. Since hyperspace is the source of her power he could probably cut her off from it and knock out her power temporarily.

I believe that would be Carlos Pacheco with the scripting assistance of Jeph Loeb. Two guys whose work I otherwise respect but who had (in my opinion) no knack for the FF.

The undoing of Sue's miscarriage is up there with JMS' destruction of Gwen Stacey, as far as I'm concerned. It was one of John Byrne's most powerful moments, and now it's practically meaningless.
New writers should make their own mark on the characters.
They shouldn't undo what was done right.

whatever you imagine thier wearing an new ideas for opponents?:ff:

nice avatar
claire bennet[heroes] vs susan?

Which one is she? The teenager?

If its the teenager, Sue could win, but we would have to get pretty icky in doing so.....

Suffocate her, then.....well I don't want to go further than to say......unless she can generate a new body from a leg....well you can go from there....

thanks to johnny blaze for this ides susan richards vs red sonja

The fact that Sue can close off an air passage within seconds, stop a tidal wave, engulf a nuclear explosion......

Unless she is taken totally off guard or her own energy is used against as in one of the recent MK editions where she was enranged by one of the Inhumans for going after her son, I don't see that there is much anyone can do....
