Taken from May 11 to May 20 and the third in a series over the past two year. An outsider nonprofit polling organization (Independent and uncensored nationwide survey). Here is the PDF, it includes how they collected data (care of Washington Post). It shows the demographic shift. Again I reiterate:

Right cause polling data is always spot on, just ask president hillary clinton.

This election was clearly rigged, there are too many improbabilities and almost streamlined occurances for it not to be so.

You know what I love about this though? All these newspapers that are bemoaning the death of the paper because of the internets now only have the internets to report off of. Complete 180 in editorials which rallied against these people putting reporters out of work.

Then prove this report and data wrong. It is pretty detailed in how it got its data. Prove the overwhelming 18-24 strata DID NOT vote Ahmadinejad. The litmus test is technically on you, since you are making the argument Ahmadinejad did not really win the election. You are the one making the accusations.

Unless you are saying of course he won it but not by the overwhelming numbers cited, which in any case is moot.

Yeah foreigners in an oppressive country asked questions and got stock answers which just said Iran was great the way it is. I don't blame them but I don't believe this anymore than polling data from a house with 20 illegal immigrants living in it. Again this is polling data, not fact not vote, I don't have to prove it wrong cause it's just a poll not the gospel of truth. It holds however much weight you choose to believe polls hold. Again speak to President Hilldog about how dead on this is.

I'm making the cause that to have all the handwritten ballots in Iran counted an hour after the polls closed is almost an impossibility. To have the outcome hold such a standard deviation throughtout all districts is almost an impossibility. To have Amy's lead be stardard and unchanging form the beginning to end is almost an impossibility. And to have this many people protesting in such massive numbers in defiance of a supreme religious authority and a military with no quelms of killing civilians speaks that something ****ed up happened. Put all of this together and to say the (and I'll be generous here) 1% chance of this being legit is anything I need to disprove is ridiculous. There is no burden of proof, this was rigged from the start and it's backfiring badly, that's apparent.

What the actual numbers might have been is unknown, I doubt most votes were even counted to begin with.

One poll from the washington post which is now using twitter for it's news just isn't very convincing.

I'm sure this Election was fixed. This is just about how Iranians handle it.

Didn't they get like over a million votes...and then count it all by hand in like a few hours?

And...it looks like things are indeed getting violent in Iran now. Looks pretty ****ing out of hand.

Violent in Iran, hell there is rioting here in the US. Video just came on the news from Georgetown, in Washington D.C., people rioting, starting fires, etc over what is going on in Iran.

I just saw on CNN that pro-government militias are out trying to stop the protests

and Irans state run tv is saying that the challenger will be held responsible for the "illegal protests'

Well, "the challenger" said that he is ready to be a martyr......so I don't think that bothers him too much.

The death toll is mounting, but there are also reports of the police not doing anything even though they have been told to stop people at any cost. Their are reports that the Revolutionary Guard has some division as well. If that happens, and the merchants as well as teachers, etc join the young people, then TRUE Revolution will happen. Without those people, this will die down in days. It very well could dwindle just like the 2003 uprising.

We need to be careful of misinformation. Some of it maybe Iran trying to force Westerns to make hasty statements so they can use us to rally cry with the people that haven't joined the "Green" party and just support Ahmadenijad/Ayatollah because they're scared.

Scapegoating this as another American interference would stop them from ever joining if they think the violence quells US influences.

Never said it was truth, just said there are reports.

I wasn't saying one way or the other. Just noting how the American media has been waiting on pins and needles for something to happen and they sometimes get ahead of themselves when it comes to conflicting reports so they can have more "expert" analysis segments to fill 24 hours.

Considering he was Prime minister during the Iran-Iraq crisis and Iran Contra. I find it hard to believe he is as sparkling as that article seems.

Sure, he could have to a different person since then, but I'm more interested in the overall relationship Iran wants to convey. More engaged with the world and more political freedom. No country goes from dicatorship to perfect shining democracy just because of one man.

I don't think they are having to wait for anything. All you have to do is go to You Tube, or Twitter and you can find plenty without turning on the evening news.

Has this been posted yet? I stay away from politics, but I had to put it up because I was rattled just looking at the first few seconds:

Iranian woman killed in protests
@ 19:05 June 20th
Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.

A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim's chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.

The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.

The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me.
Please let the world know

Agreed. I'm avoiding cable news because we all know how that is. They want to be the first to report whatever and will usually say "we can't confirm this, but" or "it is unknown at this time, but..."

Damn, she looks right into the camera.

I wonder how viral that is in Iran right now?

That;s the one i was talking about in my earlier post, Sullivan had it on his blog right after it was put on youtube

Well, unfortunately this isn't going to be good to watch....and get all excited about as they rise up against their government. What will be harder to watch, is the US staying out of it.......we cannot get involved, because the Iranian government can simply say this is a US backed uprising, and not an uprising of the people. It's going to be hard but I have a feeling we will see more of this type of thing before its over.

The people of Iran are going to have to go through this themselves....unless UN peace keepers want to make an "appearance"...
