You know, sometimes I get the feeling that you want all these things to happen, just so you can come here and say I told you so.:down

No comment. ;)

(Addendum posts a picture of pot, then a picture of a pot-smoker, implying that I'm a pot-smoker)

Sure...

No, I'm not. I've only smoked a single joint in my whole life, and it was just for the experience.

What I care about is Israel's behavior: they are not suicide-bombing anyone, nor have they ever. They're not spending all day protesting in the streets [at least, not usually] because their infrastructure and economies have been destroyed & they lack better things to do. They're living in the present, integrating their devout religious beliefs with the realities of 21st-century life, as much as they can. They're not taking hostages every five minutes, setting up roadside bombs or sawing people's heads off with dull knives on the evening news. Their women don't live in virtual captivity; they actually have jobs and educations and -don't- have battery-acid thrown on them for wearing the wrong burkha that day. To the contrary! Their women have a long and proud history of military service. Many Islamic women can't do so much as drive a car; that might give 'em ideas, you see.

Who was it that came in and got our people out during that hostage crisis back in the 70's? It damn sure wasn't Iran, or any other Islamic state. Nobody could do it, not even us - but Israel did it.

For all these things Israel does, and for the things they DON'T do, I say . Which is why when it comes down to whether we stand behind them, or whether we stand behind Islam [whose countries have a long tradition of stabbing us in the back; hello Saudi Arabia you are the first to come to mind...]... it seems clear to me who really deserves our support.

You'll support whoever stands to fatten up your bankroll the most. That is a fact.

Quadifi used to say some crazy stuff back in the day...........where's he now? There are ways to deal with dudes like this

Hasnt the land of Gog been interpreted to mean Russia? If so, does that mean Russia will try to invade Israel?

Magog is Russia, Gog is Iran. Southern Russia is becoming increasingly Muslim (in a religious sense) and anti-semetic. They'll both team-up to do a surprise attack on Israel. Now's the time to become a believer my friends, the time is coming.

Israel became a nation in one day back in the 40's.

The Jew returned to their homeland in the 60's.

Israel, once desolate, is now flurishing in agriculture.

The Roman Empire has reunited in the form of the EU.

Weather disasters are becoming more frequent and more violent.

Immorality is becoming rampant.

Gog is readying to attack Israel.

Read and believe.

Dude, I think you're reading too much Tim LaHaye. He didn't write the bible, you know.

What's the differnece between suicide bombing and regular bombing if it still results in the death of innocent civilians?

I think she means that it's harder to reason with suicide bombers because those people plan on dying. I could be wrong though, because I'm not a 100% up to date with your guys argument.

I've known this even before that dude was famous. Severe weather increased 30% in the 1990's alone. All what I said is basic fact that you can find in articles and in the Bible. Tim LaHaye has nothing to do with prophecy.

The bible doesn't have a cheat sheet which says "this refers to this and that refers to something else". It's strictly interpretation

1000%! Yes at any point in time there are a thousand loony bins out there making a name for themselves by saying according to the bible a couple years from now this will happen. one out of so many are going to be close.

Now what I would like to know is how come I hear all the time this was predicted and that was predicted, but I never hear about any of these predictions before they come true?

Now yes in rescent years I have heard the bible predicts there will be a world war 3, and there will be a nuclear war. WOW!

I could tell you that, and I'm not a prophet sent by some God. Give me next week's lottery numbers and I will convert!

I forgot to mention that often times they intentionally make predictions come true as their way of serving god and fullfilling the prophecy.

Was it predicted because it would happen? or did it happen because it was predicted?

Israel is too hardcore to let some pyscho do that..its just talk.Plus if something like that happend you know the worlds police(usa) would jump in..iran would be no more!!!!

I bet even if the nukes were flying at Israel, you pacifist liberals would still be sitting here saying that the U.S. should mind its own business. Just amazing.

Actually, I take that back. Whatever Bush does, you will take the opposite position. No wonder Kerry was all over the map. He had to keep you people in check and cover ALL beliefs in the same sentence every time he had to discuss an issue.

Israel is an ally. We don't turn our backs on an ally who asks for help, last I checked. Unless you think that's "good foreign policy" heh.

When that time comes, the US will be ready guns a blazing. But to take a preemptive action with no solid evidence that they actually have a weapon other than Irans President's claim that hes joined the Hair club for men or something we cant. Our forces are spread too thin as it is.

Or unless you're France.

France is different. They did the unthinkable: "disagree" ;)

I guess that's what you do when you get kickbacks from "Oil for Food".

Couldn't we just send in someone to asassinate Iran's president?

No, no, invading their country and bombing entire cities and using underground mini-nukes and killing thousands of innocent civilians in the process is much better, trust me. Just ask Halliburton.
