Um, that armor is NOT in the Hall of Armor picture you posted! Easiest way to tell is to look at the abs. This one only has two little squares while all the others that have this, have three! RIM, is this the Mark VIII?

It's always nice to see a superhero movie on a different setting. Taking place during Christmas adds something different to the atmosphere of the movie. I mean, we haven't see Iron Man in the snow yet, for example. I've always liked that kind of little things that makes something different.
The same way I thought we haven't seen Iron Man underwater yet, and when we first see him in Avengers, there he is. I love that.

Btw, could any of you kind gentlemen and ladies find the time to suggest good Iron Man stories to read? After the Avengers I read a lot of Hulk and now that I'm almost done I'd like to sink my teeth in IM lore. From writers' runs, to separate sagas of any universe, I don't mind!

Don't worry, that's just an ol' pic of Mark IV (2010). Concerning the comic book stories, here's the list of the definitive and best ones (both TPB/Hardcovers):

* War Machine, Enter The Mandarin, The Many Armors of Iron Man, Extremis, Haunted

No problem, man) Trust me, you'll love them. The stories are very intelligent, funny, innovative, high-tech (even by their time standards) and tragic. Each author and artist brings a unique view on Tony Stark's life (you know, the whole rise and fall motive is still there). So yes, you won't regret the overall experience, once you will be into it)

In a big way, yes, but the classic (616 Tony, circa 60's-90's) isn't as arrogant and self-obsessed as RDJ's Stark, lol. However, that side of the character can be found in the Ultimate Universe - Mark Millar's Ultimates v1 & v2).

Which is weird because, it's different from the Mark IV in the Hall of Armors picture you posted.

You can see it mostly in the colors, the insides of the elbows, biceps, the gold in the collarbone area, and the abs. I wonder if they redesigned it for the Hall or if they had more than one version in IM2?

Was just reading on wikipedia. It says "No Chinese actors or actresses are confirmed to join Iron Man 3." I know people can edit Wiki, but is this the case? I thought Andy Lau was confirmed. Is he not in this now?
