Really loving the new Heartbreaker suit. Definitely looks like the one that was shown in one of the Lego sets. Seems to be a jerry-rigged suit that he cannibalized with other suits and probably some stuff he finds in his exile garage. Sort of how he cobbled together the Mark I with a box of scraps. IN A CAVE!

might be a stupid question, but what other movies have that in it that you see it as an overused plot convention? I'm drawing a blank lol. I guess the general idea of a movies protagonist being down in the dumps and not wanting to be what they are anymore and someone coming along saying "no you have to do this, I believe in you!" and then the hero goes back out and does his thing, type thing is used but I still can't recall anything

Couldn't remember the correct order of "box of scraps" and "in a cave," but looks like you got my meaning. They said the movie would send Tony back to the cave and him having to work on his suit in a, austere, backyard garage would fit the bill.

And yeah, you're definitely right about him "going back to the cave" and that garage part makes sense.

Not every movie with a kid in it turns out to be The Mummy 2 or Zorro 2 or whatever.

Trust the people involved in the current production, not whatever half-ass films you've seen previously.

It will be an absolute crime if Tony doesn't fire a huge unibeam out of the Heartbreaker. That arc reactor is way too big to not show off.

Dude the Heartbreaker armor is almost too badass for words, he just HAS to fire a HUGE unibeam in the final fight.

If he doesn't it would be almost as much of a waste as Colossus and Juggernaut being in the same movie without fighting.

I know! That armor looks like it can take some damage and dish it out too. Colossus and Juggernaut never fighting or even crossing each other's paths was a HUUUUUUGE waste. I honestly thought them fighting in X3 was a given just like Ice-Man vs. Pyro. Boy, was I wrong. We all were.

I hope the new xmen movie does Iceman some justice ( i think he's said he is going to be in it again ) he should have always been in the super iced up form lol

I'm pretty sure he was my first favortie hero

imdb.com has listed IM3 with a running time of 1:49 hours... Sounds too short for me. I'd hoped for at least 2:10 hours.

well it is IMDB so it's safe to assume it's false haha. Plus I haven't seen any leaked or official info on the movie runtime yet so I doubt imdb users have it...

I live in Denmark, and just checked my local theater listings. Remember, here the movie has it's premier already on April 24'th. My theater has the film listed at 2:10 hours excluding trailers and credits. That sounds more right to me. But I don't know if this is the true running time though.

King Thor would be really cool.. I don't know much about that character arc but if I recall correctly it's Thor + Odinforce?

on the Iceman note, yep I'd love to see him fly around on those! damn you Fox! but I have to say I really liked First Class, and I think The Wolverine and Days of Futures Past are going to be great. so things are looking up

That Heartbreaker armor looks freaking insane. Super sweet. Marvel has me so hyped up today, the new Spidey suit and all this awesome Iron Man news. Too much in one day lol. [blackout]DC is looking sooooo bad right now[/blackout]

Anyway, can't wait to see Tony fire a huge ass uni beam into the Mandarin at the end of the film...seriously words can't describe just how beast that suit looks. I'm definitely getting a figure and I don't even collect.

The suits in this film look soo great. Deep Space Armor + Heartbreaker is instant win alone.
