It's cool knowing what things are going to happen and not knowing how they will happen or what they are going to look like in the movie.. makes my mind run with scenes I make up haha. That's the main reason I hope trailer 2 doesnt give too many scenes away. I like knowing what's in store but not seeing it

I don't want to spoil the movie for you so I won't say specifically but that's not what it's like.

The box of scraps analogy is why I said it wasn't really like that. He combining several different armor pieces with Extremis not taking a box of scraps and putting a new armor together. The way you said it made it sound like he's just going to pull out a box and put a new suit together.

Are we 100% sure on the whole Bethany Cabe thing? He didnt seem sure.

Yes. We are sure. Assuming that guy is legit. If really DID see the movie, then she's cabe. However, this isn't really new guys lol. These spoilers were posted like a month ago lol

idk why everyone ignored these, it's art for the space armor and hulk buster

As long as it's not confusing for the audience to keep up with all the different armors.
Has it been implied why so many will be needed and what exactly they'll be facing?

I mean, dare I say, if Tony had 40-odd drones for Avangers they could have wiped the floor of that alien attack. So it would want to be something pretty big?
I guess you didn't read this one.

He seemed pretty sure to me.

Yeah that's what I like about these spoilers. They give us tidbits into the movie without completely spoiling when it takes place and how it's implemented and such, which is what really matters imo. I think spoilers, rather than ruining a movie for me, makes me more hyped for it honestly. I know what I'm looking for going in and I'll be able to keep up with the movie a lot better on the first sitting than most people going in will be.

Well I know that, but I had never read the source page before now.

the two pictures I posted? wtf haha damn how did I miss that. I havent been here in a few days though

Yeah I can't keep up with this thread anymore it moves so fast! I just lurk and make mental post replies...:p

The very idea of Iron Man in space though is something I get excited at.

haha I know, I couldn't help myself! shaping up to be a great movie though.

and CherokeeSam if you happen to see this, the stuff I read basically puts your theory of Killian over Mandarin to rest lol. :cwink:

How so?
Mandarin can play Osama bin Laden all he wants and be Public Enemy #1 to the US of A, and that still doesn't make him any less of a puppet. American history --- *real* American history, once you get past the red white and blue blinders --- is chock full of instances of the CIA, US military, and/or American corporations propping up dictators, drug lords, terrorist leaders and assorted other boogeymen. That same type of situation will probably be shown to exist in IM3 with AIM secretly backing Ten Rings, and Mandarin just thinking of them as a wealthy benefactor, when in reality, Killian is using him towards AIM's own ends.

There's nothing in the 4chan leaks that contradicts that theory.

you're right, that still could be the case. but from what I gathered in reading that was [BLACKOUT]that Killian and Mandarin are some type of associates, and Killian makes the super special extremis fused rings for Mandarin to use (I assume early on) so I don't see where Killian would gain advantage by giving Mandarin his best tech.[/BLACKOUT] I'm still in the mindset that Killian, Coldblood and Firepower are all under Mandarin's control. And with that 4chan article saying [BLACKOUT]outright that the extremis infected Coldblood and Firepower (really just Jack Taggert in IP suit) are acting out Mandarins will then I also assume that an extremis Killian will be under Mandarins will as well. (also the fact that they're killing him at the hands of Pepper seems to me that he isn't going to be a big deal.)[/BLACKOUT] But idk that just seems like the logical route to take from what we've seen and been told. Then again you have just as great a chance of being right as me haha. Heck we're probably both wrong!

Good point, The Mandarin and his minions certainly don't seem powerful enough to require 40+ drones to fight.

I don't know, technology seems like the Mandarin's strong point(like Tony) and those 40 drones should be in for one hell of a battle. Those Chitauri would have had a hard time with the drones, but Mandarin's technological expertise should prove to be much more of a threat due to the fact he can take them down in ways that the Chitauri soldiers could not.

I guess if the 10 rings have control of the armor or something crazy like that then it'd be worth having the 40+ drones.

don't want to comment on this, just want to say how much I [frick]ing LOVE your profile picture thingy! NPH for the win!

They're Extremis-powered (Mandarin's forces), so Tony would have to use 40 armors to fight them.

What kind of powers will the "Extremis" virus give people in this film anyway?

The posters so far for IM3 are better than ones from the previous IM movies. Just so rich with detail, but not giving away any of the plot at the same time.
