Franco needs to stop taking crap roles just because they're leads. (and I'm not counting SM-3 here - this is a good role). Because he's really talented, but he's not going to get the respect with roles like Flyboys.

If he wasn't respected, he wouldn't be getting any roles at all. Do you think they would cast a talentless actor to co-lead with DiNiro (City By The Sea)??

exactly, thats why james franco is in movies because he is an actor even befor he starred in the spiderman movies, sam wouldnt cast a regular person, he needed a good cast to fit the characters.

I'm not saying he's not respected entirely, and I'm not saying he doesn't have recognizable talent. I think he IS really talented. But I think he might loose out on advancing his career if he goes for too many mainstream roles in so-so films. Not that there's anything wrong with mixing it up. But I think James Franco is capable of more than being the hot lead in a forgetable action flick like Flyboys.

james francos best role that he ever had in a movie was defenitley in spiderman, hes a very talented actor.

ever since spiderman hes been in alot of movies, that is way harry is his best role.

Can't really think of any of his other movies that were good...
