The James Franco/ Harry Osborn Thread

I think there are clues in the trailer:

1) Peter says I need your help and he is on Harry's balcony when he does so.

2) We see Spidey reaching for someone's help with a Venom strand around his neck at the end of the trailer.

3) In the leaked trailer yo usee Harry on a stretcher and also in a different cut of sequences Peter in the ripped costume (after the Venom fight) looking down like he is about to cry.

Put the three together, and I think you can guess then.

this is not how i see it.first harry goes after peter when heis in hes normal clothes. than harry falls down in the aley. we have set pics. peter takes harry in teh hospital. than when peter has teh symbiote he goes in teh mansion and kicks haryys ass. and in the end throws a bomb at him.

than after he gets rid of the symbiote he goes to harry for help. at the constructionsite harry dies. we see MJ and peter crying. behind him there is the sunrise. very epic.

see the difference between harry and norman? when norman transform he was from the first second a f... maniac. harry is different.

But immediatly after seeing Spider-Man 2 I was captivated by Franco's role as Harry. I felt for him emotionally and just could'nt quit thinking about his role in the film. It was just nothing short of amazing, fantastic acting and writing. Since then watching his story arc grow has been my #1 reason for wanting to see this film. I was dissapointed there was'nt more Harry in the new trailer but there'll be another one in a few months so hopefully they'll tease us a little more with his role. Anyone else dieing in anticipation for Harry in this film?

Harry is my top reason too. I agree on SM2 - Franco gave a great performance and really made Harry a sympathetic character. Even though it's been pretty obvious where his character has been headed all along...I can't help but care: when he stepped out of that green gas in the thanksgiving preview I was like 'Noooo, Harry, you idiot - don't do it!'

A major improvement,and for part 4 they have to give us the same amount of action if not more.

let me say it like that .if this movie is 2 hours long than i expect only action fro mthis movie. because looking at what we know this movie has to be 2:30 long .

hmmm. you do know that there are moveis out there that have only action and no story. but that doesnt mean that they have 2 hour action.

I wouldn't be surprised if the movie even came close to 3 hours long. Just think for a moment about all of the stuff we know that's going to be in the movie. Spidey, Symbiote, Harry, MJ, Brock/Vnomez, Sandman, JJJ, Aunt May, and The Stacey's. There's going to be at least two fight scenes (possibly three) with at least two of the villains (Harry and Sandman), and that's not including the "Battle Royale". There's also alot of story that they seem to want to cover as well, like MJ and Pete, Emo Parker, Harry swooping in on MJ, etc. That has to take some time. So 3 hours seems logical to me.

yeah, spidey3 will have a ton of action, the armored car scene between spidey and sandman, the subway scene betweeen symbiote spidey and sandman, the fight between peter and harry, the fight between symbiote peter and harry in mansion, the final battle between spidey,harry vs. venom and sandman, there will be a TON!!!! of action, i cant wait.

At this point I'm thinking Harry is going to be somewhere between a second GG and...nothing in particular. I don't think he will go the way of having an alter ego (madness or otherwise), because he's just out for revenge. The outfit looks more 'practical' than stylish. And if he is crazy, I think it will be more along the lines of hallucinations of daddy than alternate personality.
