The New Goblin

The Game: "The New Goblin is Harry Osborn, son of the brilliant millionaire scientist Norman Osborn. Norman transformed himself into the Green Goblin and terrorized the city of New York. Following in his father's footsteps, Harry uses the same process to enhance his strength and abilities in an attempt to exact revenge on Spider-Man, whom he believes killed his father." - Schmitt

The Comics: Add another Spider-Man 3 character to the "dead checklist". Harry Osborn has been deceased for nearly 15 years (in our time; undetermined within the timeline of the Marvel Universe). Harry's life followed the same path as his film/game counterpart. The slight twist is that Harry actually witnessed his father's death in the comics rather than seeing Spider-Man standing over Norman's body in the movie. Harry discovers that Peter Parker is Spidey and things quickly break down from there. Will Movie Harry meet the same fate as his comic book "predecessor"? We'll find out in less than a month.

Harry's new suit is far better than Norman's. For a start is going to be far more flexible....and doesn't look like it was stolen from PR.

I guess it's all down to opinion and taste though.

It is cooler and more applicable to what he is doing. I agree with that. But Harry is suppose to be GG2, not Night Surfing Snowboarding Ninja. They could have at least incorporated something Goblin onto that suit to make it more menacing and pay homage to the source material. Look at Sandman...perfect transition. What would be saying if he wore a pink Abercrombie shirt with navy board shorts? Something on the mask with teeth and eyes would have been perfect...even if they were just painted on.

They changed the ending scene of Harry in the alley.On the Comcast it shows that when Peter webs that razor bat and throws it back at Harry the razor bat makes a sound now and flies past Harry and explodes and Harry covers his face with his hands,and when Harry takes his hands away Harry sees the clothesline.

They changed the ending scene of Harry in the alley.On the Comcast it shows that when Peter webs that razor bat and throws it back at Harry the razor bat makes a sound now and flies past Harry and explodes and Harry covers his face with his hands,and when Harry takes his hands away Harry sees the clothesline.

yeah, i noticed that. i think it's better than before, then again, i liked the razor pumpkin going into his shoulder.

I hope he dawns the mask by the end of the film... his face does get scarred before the end with the pumkin bomb... so I think he'll be wearing a mask

I remember in one of those features there being a stunt scene or something with an explosion where New Goblin was surfing away and his face was bandaged in the shot. I'm guessing it's in the battle royale.

I was looking through this months total film and Harry is wearing a long black coat and shades, not the helmet like in all the pics and clips. I'm guessing he wears these in the last battle.

im not sure whay you mean by that^^, but the coat and glasses was concept art, nothing more, there are web blogs and such describing it, its 99% sure now that harry wears the same suit throughout the whole movie
