I always thought of this guy's art as a fad. One that ended in the 90's.

While his other work doesn't interest me, I absolutely love Invader Zim.

God, I loved JTHM back in high school, but after reading it now that I'm not full of pent-up teenage angst, it's lost its shine a bit. "Booo, normal people are stupid, so KILL THEM!!!!" Feels more like a cry for attention with gimmicky artwork.

Still, you have to respect the man who came up with the line "F---ing Doughnut!, Mock Me??,You Fried Cyclops!!"

I'm also interested in seeing what Jellyfist is gonna be with, he's not doing the art on this one.

I love JTHM and Invader Zim (which is the best cartoon Nickelodeon has had since they cancled rocko's modern life).

Invader Zim is the best thing he's done. I loved JTHM the first time I read it, every time since I've kicked myself in the ass exponentially for ever thinking it was good. Happy Noodle Boy was funny, and so was Wobbly Headed Bob, but the main story is boring and deserves one issue at most. I do like Squee, it's cute and Pepito was a stroke of brilliance. I Feel Sick was too much like JTHM. He writes great gonzo lines, like the doughnut one and most of the dialog in Zim, but I'd rather read Transmetropolitan. I do like his art though.

Squee and Filler Bunny earned him a place in my heart.
Zim is pretty funny.
I feel sick and JTHM are occasionally entertaining and "different" enough. Also, I felt JTHM is more like a parody of teenage angst and the "goth culture".

So I like the guy.
