thank you, what fun would that be if we get yet ANOTHER all black suit?

but the TDK suit is all black too

Apparently you haven't heard. And I don't know why u haven't.... but halfway thru the the colors WILL change from his all black to black and gray and there will be a reason for it that they'll show in the film. It's a spoiler but clearly you're on the need to know.

Whatever it is, PLEASE completely get rid of rubber. It is the most outdated material to ever be used on a superhero outfit.

Someone get a clue and use the vast amount of materials already suited to make a faithful, but functional interpretation of the outfit.

In BB I believe they used Kevlar so I'm sure there won't be any regression back to rubber. Kevlar and Nomex is the way to go.

Yeah, actually I´m sick of people talking like rubber means LITERALLY rubber, in the context of the movie it´s meant to be a bullet-resistent material like kevlar. According to official sources, the new TDK suit is bathed in liquid titanium.

Even though, the suit DOES have rubber...

I'm not talking about the context of the movie. That's not even relevant to the discussion. ANYTHING can be something in the context of the movie, doesn't change the reality of what it actually is or how it looks.

I would use the yellow oval. Keep the suit Black, and add a blue tint to the cape/cowl, boots, and gloves. Not a bright blue at all, just enough to give some contrast to the black.

I say go for the oval. I kinda miss it already. But I would be fine with the Big Black Bat thingy.

Go for the oval.
Keep the suit black.

I decided to vote for tweaked Oval, i'd like to see what WETA comes up with under that idea.

I don't even know what a Batuit is! :cmad:

hunter's grammar aside, I like the all-black bat that stretches across the chest. Which looks best on gray. Hint, hint.

Shut your hole Mutt. :cmad:

Agreed.

The straight forward black bat is the best. The yellow oval is cheesy, a relic of the 60's that just won't die.

The Oval serves a very good purpose though. It draws fire to the armored chest piece rather than his un-armored face.

. . . . sure.

Its still cheesey as hell. Batman's not cheesey. Who's going to be scared of some guy with a yellow signal on his chest? :p

The same people who are scared of men who wear their underwear on the outside.:oldrazz:

anybody got pics of the BR suit? That was an amazing costume, same with the BF suit. Can we get some pics of those in this thread?

was never a fan of the oval, it looked like Batman was trying to sell merchandise. I think JLA Batman should just a glue a real dead bat to his chest. How freaking badass would that be?

and smelly :oldrazz:

i like the logo design on this one.

although i really wouldnt mind an oval/ semi oval design either. it all depends on how it would look like in real life and not just on paper.

I'd say a mix of the colors of the 1966, but made the way the Batman Beging suit is

I could live with something that makes the classic colors darker without necessarily making them all-black, 'cuz the gray spandex just doesn't look right even the way Alex Ross paints it, IMO. Oh, and a couple spots of light body armor wouldn't be bad, either.

I've always liked black bat on grey chest. And we haven't really seen that on film yet (unless you count the TDK suit, which might as well just not have a bat emblem).

Regular black-bat. The oval works in the comics and cartoons in some cases, but I don't really like it too much in live action.

Same here. I don't like the oval much anymore because of that. I really like a plain black bat now instead.

I could even imagine it happening, they go for a somewhat more traditional comics suit, then a lot of geeks jump on the bandwagon and go "yeah, that´s the real Batman, Nolan sucks!" and then comes the actual portrayal of Batman to prove there´s much to Bats than gray tights...

I hate it when some hate the costume that isn't the same like the comics, they say "It's not Batman!". Of course, it's Batman. Just a different look. Honestly, why does different look mean it's not Batman? Different Batman, different look.

Oh, I also agree that some should know BB costume isn't rubber in the movie. It is rubber in real life, but it not in the film. How come some who complain on that fail to mention the B89 costume as well? It somewhat rubber too & one of Joker's men said it was some kind of body armor? Some just ignore thing, that I can't help but laugh. :funny:
