Joker "The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached? - Part 2

People will be really surprised. There's so much more that wasnt shown in trailer.

I may warn you: For those not wanting to be spoiled, the current leaked script in r/dcleaks or something indeed does describe scenes shown in the trailer (some others not) then it is very likely authentic, although an early version (not so early one, nonetheless). So, take care.

That said. I think alot will be really delighted. The final act of this movie is amazing.

What would you say is the screentime split between Arthur and Joker?

"The Joker" is only in the last 20-30 minutes. Just getting that out there in case people are huge expectations Majority of the film is focused on Arthur's breakdown

It's nice to finally see and hear him speak in makeup.
I'm gonna have to adjust to a "normal" speaking Joker. That theatrical side is prevalent in Hamill and Ledger's deliveries, so this is definitely a change.

But I have full faith in Joaquin delivering, if his laugh and body movements are any indication.

During the trailer, you'll notice when he speaks as Joker there's a sense of confidence in his voice and delivery versus when he's Arthur he's more child like.

He sounds more like Joker out of makeup than he does in it, which is probably intentional.

There is a poster for the movie Excalibur in this shot. I guess that places the movie in 1981.

You've seen an early screening of the movie?

Awesome, awesome trailer.

"Murray, one small thing. When you bring me out can you introduce me as Joker".....I loved that. This trailer cements my belief that this is going to be a very sympathetic take on the Joker. It seems like everyone around him is a *****ebag to him. The little kid on the bus, he makes him laugh, and then the mom turns around and is like "Stop bothering my kid".
