Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson have some insane footsteps to follow. Even though they are not in the same universe and Joker is unlikely to be in The Batman, this sets a precedent for the heights a Batman mythology comic book movie can reach. Not to mention Reeves is also using Taxi Driver as inspiration.

No pressure on their part haha
