Joker "The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached? - Part 2

I'm sitting here trying to freeze frame the clown shots, lol. I love the hair at the end.

From what we heard about the period and the potential influences on the movie, it looks like they've nailed the aesthetics (so far).

Do I see some John Wayne Gacy influences on the design and colour scheme of the makeup?

Or am I jumping to conclusions?

I'd be fine if that's his finished look, honestly. The shoddiness of the makeup feels authentic, not in an overly thought out way.

That felt like a teaser for an indie flick.

I like. And good song choice.

If only this had a more reliable director....but so far everything looks great

Dude looks more like Pennywise than the Joker, hope the final look is much better.

Okay. Okay. OKAY. Yeah that did it for me.

My sense of optimism for this definitely got brighter.

I still don't think this is his final look for some reason, honestly. especially because in the quick flashes his makeup looks different

I am curious about the casting choice and hopeful of the departure of Leto's Joker, but I cannot fathom a Joker story without Batman, just as the same as making a batman story without a compeling villain. Impossible.

Alex Ross’ Batman: War on Crime is a great Batman story with no compelling villain. It focuses on Batman’s relationship with a crime victim. Same with some of the best stories from Batman: Black and White.

Well... I was already looking forward to this, but my hype levels just rose exponentially.
