Reminds me of this

(Maybe it's inspired by this ?)
I remember when this was first released. Chills!

Awesome covers. Can't wait to see the articles and new stills.

Bradley Cooper interview, nice.
Wonder how much input he had, since he just got WB a Best Picture nom and this looks like one of their big Oscar players (for Actor at the very least)

“We didn’t follow anything from the comic-books, which people are gonna be mad about,” the writer-director tells Empire. “We just wrote our own version of where a guy like Joker might come from. That’s what was interesting to me. We’re not even doing Joker, but the story of becoming Joker. It’s about this man.”

The Joker can have different origin stories, each version is valid interpretation of the character, so I'm all for creative freedom in else-worlds movies.

You really can't follow the comics due to every origin either being fake or just a case of bad memory on his part. I kinda go with the theory that all the origins from the comics are accurate but they're chopped up bits and pieces that his brain has just muddled together.

Not following “anything” from the comics is a bummer but I’m still excited

“We didn’t follow anything from the comic-books, which people are gonna be mad about,”

We've been warned, people. Keep this in mind when going in. Its a whole new take altogether.

I mean it's been likened to and even called by some an "Elseworlds" type movie. So if you expect it to be exactly like the comics then that's pretty foolish. But I'm sure that won't stop some

Sounds great to me, and it's exactly how I've been describing this film to people. A story about how/what could drive a man to become something like The Joker.

So that description that someone took an unrelated story and slapped a Joker costume on it is true? Not terribly unexpected.

She does! The climax of the movie is a one-on-one basketball match between Catwoman and the Joker.
Berry's Catwoman could step on Joaquer by mistake and his bones would break. I wonder if the weight loss ****ed Joaquin's body up?
