A $50m Lex film doesn't need to make a billion. Also, it only dropped 29% internationally... it'll hit a Billie

Im pretty sure it will go neck and neck with the two Deadpool movies ($783 & $785 mil) but anything over $900 mil is unlikely imho.

Expect a $800 mil final +/- $50 mil.

This does make me wonder : If a character study thats R rated with no action or romance can make these numbers thanks to the Joker brand... how much money is PG 13 Batman with more action and probably romance going to make? That'll be intetesting to see.

Austria, France (9 Oct) and Germany, Israel (10 Oct),

so depending on how they respond, the movie could get some more boost.

700 will be toast 100%. Its not doing less than $725 mil.

Id say at this point $750 mil is a lock and #3 spot for R-rated films beating Matrix Reloaded ($742,1 mil.) is probably happening.

Agreed, but it doesn't have to, not all R rated movies will be as successful as Joker, but if they can be moderately successful and get good reviews, that's a win.

There's no denying that having those elements will make The Batman more accessible though. And I just wonder how much money it's going to make.

And it's about a brand who meet great filmaking. Even the more popular Brand can't win when the treatement doesn't reasonnate with the public, movie history tell us about it.

Ps: and that's why "unknown" brands like Guardian of the galaxy found its public.

I disagree. All the action and Fx cant save a movie. And you cant have arbitrarly
action or even romance, thinking you are going to make more bucks. that's the opposite of thinking when you do a Joker. Concentrate on the movie that you want to tell.
