The Dark Knight The Jokers Big Entrance thread

He should send a letter to a Gotham newspaper, including pics to reveal himself. After that, he'll have a weekly column in which he criticises Harvey Dent's & Batman's crimefighting.

I highly doubt Gotham will openly welcome a serial killer to write a weekly column for a paper. :o

It would be like Zodiac, they debate for 5 minutes whether printing it is responsible, then do it anyway for the huge circulation. I'd really like a newspaper subplot in this film, Begins was all about rumour and perception. It's the best way to make mundane reality into something larger than life

I'm putting my money on Joker entering on a uni-cycle . . . .

i'd like to see him do something along the lines of sid vicious' rendition of my way...it'd be hilarious. he kidnaps a bunch of people, has'em dressed up and tied down as his audience. enters down the poorly lit steps of his derelict fun house. goes into his off beat song, and ends it by shooting everyone. or, it can be in some super fancy upper class show room, and joker comes out on stage, people think he's part of an act, goes into his off beat rendition of the song, people are confused, then shoots'em all at the end.

Put Ben Urich on the case!
... Oh, wait.

Hey, I tried to be original :woot: Besides, his entrance in the movie will be spectacular, I'm sure. I wanna feel what that Bank Manager feels...

I think it'll be something with a zipline. All the rumors point to in. I can see all his goons rushing into a place, and then the camera shoots up (cue IMAX), and here's Joker standing atop near a giant window, arms outstretched as if basking in his own greatness. The he'd zipline down and chaos ensues. But not before he says a really great line.

I think it will be during the bank robbery. That picture we saw of him in the bank looked like they were doing a closeup of his face. I think what'll happen is he takes his clown mask off to reveal his face in a closeup.

No matter what, I want a great entrance. The zipline seems good.

The pic of nolan pfister and crew filming the joker in the bank kinda gives it away.

I have an idea. What if he robs a bank and then takes of his mask and says 'it's rude stare' and when the bank whinges at him he shoots him in the head

Joker's big reveal will be his unmasking at the bank. i thought this was already established?

^I thought that too. It would be a great way to introduce the character, taking off his mask to a teller in the bank.

He'll exit the rovolving door of the bank.

Blaxploitation extra will comment him on his "Badd Out-Fit! Whooo!"

Flies away

Catches helicopter

Quality wanes from here on.

Batman catching a helicopter.

if they actually show that, that scene's gonna be worth the price of admission alone. :woot:

His big reveal. He pulls his dong out and waves in their faces

I would like to see the Joker pulling an obnoxiously long gun out of his pants again...

I think it is the "armed robbery, double homicide". But whether it is or not, we know Joker reveals himself during this robbery. Unless they do something very funky with the editing.

I think it might be a little hard to clarify that the bank robbery shown is taking place before the end of Begins. Don;t you think it would be hard to clarify that it was indeed a flashback? It would seem more than anything like a current event in the movie's timeline.
