I think Goyer's being pushed out now. He may not show up here, but by JL, perhaps he will.

The New 52 is the only lineup i can think of without MM

I guess I over exaggerated a little bit, but, I still don't think he is as important as GL or flash.

That ******ed diatribe about She Hulk and MMH really made Goyer's stock drop hard in my book.

Yeah, it looks like they're doing the New 52 lineup for the first Justice League movie. I hope Manhunter is a member in the second film though. Great character.

In the meantime, how about having him appear in a film in between Jl1 and JL2? For example, perhaps he could be a supporting character in Man of Steel 2. He ends up working with Supetman, who later offers him a spot in the League, and bam.

If the JL franchise succeeds (and that's a big IF) then it would be a crime for Marty to be omitted in 3 or more JL movies. Surely they could find a place for such a noteworthy character.

Also, while I was only a moderate fan of the JL 'toon, I hear Carl Lumbly's voice in my head every time I read a CB with MM or see a MM figure. Even when I try to imagine Marty's voice without Lumbly, I can't do it.

Martian Manhunter is one of my favorites, but I don't see him getting recognition any time soon. He's being sidelined in the comics and with Goyer being part of building the DCCU, I just think we're gonna hafta wait a while for J'onn.

I very much expect Martian Manhunter to be in Justice League.

That said, I don't expect him to really be a core member until future films. But I do think he'll play an important, if not very lengthy, role in JLA.

He should be there. And I'd much rather he be there than Cyborg if it's one or the other.

If I had to pick a character to be in JL between Martian Manhunter and Cyborg, I would go MM every time, MM is a great character and one I cant wait to see on the big screen, but, it seems Goyer isnt a fan, so that means we are getting Cyborg (who I dont hate as a character or anything, just find MM much more interesting).

I hope he will play a role in JL. I think if the DC universe is successful critically then he will no doubt make an appearance at some point.

I don't think full-on Cyborg will be in it, but Victor Stone may make a quick appearance. Or maybe a glimpse of Victor in the process of getting his cybernetic implants in a lab or something.

Hardest character to explain and make it feel OK in the current setting. They'd have to do something seriously different than use the word martian. I'd actually even be OK with an amnesia thing and just call him Manhunter

i would have preferred it we got MM over Cyborg. i think there are way too many terrestrial heroes there. what's worse is that they don't seem all that interested in GL either. that's incredibly boring. With the Flash, Batman, and Superman you have enough city, state and earth bound heroes. With Aquaman and wondy you expand into the sea and into the myths of old. with MM and Gl you go space bound. it's not that hard to diversify your bonds ****.

Agree with this, plus MM is just a much more interesting character than Cyborg.

I think it would be cool to have MM reveal himself in a sequel. As he was a minor character in bvs or jl watching over earth, or blending in.
