At this point, not much to do but wait for screening reactions when they come. Mainly from actual critics, like with Wonder Woman's early buzz.

Can't believe this is only a month away.

That one I can get as being a Terrio/Snyder thing.
The Bruce Wayne part, not the entire exchange obviously, between him & Aquaman felt like a Whedon insert.
I think the Aquaman bit was Terrio. Aquaman said " A strong man is strongest when alone". That's an actual quote from the poet Friedrich Schiller. I think Terrio would probably be the type to make that kind of reference.

Weird. Just before I scrolled to your post, I looked at the date in the right corner of my CPU screen wishing time would speed up and just realized that we're closer than ever! I'm busting now.

Just curious, have tickets for this gone on sale yet?

Yeah, I'm gonna go full internet blackout before that happens. I don't want anyone else's thoughts rolling around my head as I'm watching.

Not yet, hopefully soon. SW goes on sale Monday I think, maybe just for Alamo drafthouse though.

I wonder if if the people who cut this trailer go on reddit and these boards. I swear almost all the concerns and questions that came up in the weeks leading up to this were address.

1. Fear that Elfman will ditch Zimmer's Superman theme - They played it at the start of the film

2. Herolee's concerns - Clark dream sequence

3. Is that a Supergirl hologram? - Nope, Bruce says "The world needs Superman" right at that scene

All in all, great trailer. Love the non-Supes-Supes tease and the return of Zimmer's theme. Everyone else hating on the trailer with the same old arguments are just haters :hehe: None ya'll can get me down. November 17, let's go! #ALLIN

Chris Nolan and Emma Thomas were credited as Executive Producers on Batman V Superman. So, it's not surprising that they are being credited as EP for this movie.

What surprised me was seeing the name of Chris Terrio listed as one of the Executive Producers for this movie, wasn't expecting that.

Alright so Fabian Wagner just cleared up what all you guys were wondering.

New Justice trailer is out. Superexcited. Thank you to my friend Jean Philippe Gossart who shot my 2nd unit and the reshoots and my very talented colourist Stefan Sonnenfeld. Amazing to work with you guys

Jean Philippe Gossart did second unit work for JL, and he also worked on Fantastic Beasts and The Last Jedi. Stefan Sonnenfeld has worked on MOS and BVS, and on Star Wars : TFA.

So Joss didnt bring in his own guy after all, like many speculated.

Also, it's nice to know that the second unit DoP who worked with Fabian Wagner (DOP for this movie) was involved with reshoots with Joss Whedon.

I'm seeing a lot of you guys seeming sure that the beginning isnt a dream but...idk, the scene doesnt seem ...authentic. Lois and Clark's reactions dont seem 100% natural for two people who've been separated from each other for such a long time.

One way that's possible is that scene doesn't happen until the end. With all the things going on, Superman probably joins the battle first after his resurrection than visit Lois, and I'm sure Lois can read/see/hear about his return from the news, and probably wondered why he hasn't visited her. I can totally see that as one of the ending resolution scenes of him visiting his farm for the first time post-revival, and Lois just happening to be there waiting for him.

:highfive:

It is so gratifying seeing Danny Elfman's name as the composer, and not Junkie XL. Elfman will enhance the overall film.

We were all concerned about revealing Superman, especially his return or showing him in battle. Nobody thought of something with Clark because of his supposed death in BvS. WB had their stragedy like we all said to the people who thought they knew it all and then comes the opening sequence of the trailer nobody expected. It was brilliant. If we didn't expect that, imagine the content they are saving.

And, just in general, guys, they're barely showing us anything from the film. We've barely seen any Atlantis scenes for example which we know is going to have a major sequence in the film. We havent seen any Central City scenes or any of Vic's story or Apokolips...there's soo much that we know is in this movie that they havent shown us yet. Its the Star Wars approach.

Contrast that with BvS trailer 3 which LITERALLY laid out the whole film for us. And THEN if that wasnt enough, those idiots decided "you know what, lets sell this as a Batman movie since we cut all the superman footage out of the film anyway" and then released ANOTHER trailer basically showing the best action sequence in the film in full.

And yet, people wanted emotional hooks and story points in this trailer. Go figure.

For the guy saying the VFX won't improve from now to release, that's false. They will work thousands of hours on the VFX until the day of release.

Yeah, they just need to work on touching up the VFX now. WB looks to be very confident for this film. I hope it rakes in the big bucks, especially after BR 2049.

Thing is, even if vfx improves, the Red sky with clouds will still look 'fake' to some, as it makes the scene look unnatural and over-stylized. Can't win over preconceived arguments.

Lol I was thinking the same thing! It really seems like lately WB are really listening to the fans.

Nah, I think if they fix the colours on it, it will look more pleasing to the eyes. Right now it's just a lot to take in at once.

Yeah, I figured if it wasnt a dream it is the end. Lois is in Smallville and Clark goes home.

I mean it is probably a 25% chance but it is fun speculation. Something about the way it is cut makes me think there is more to it than just a dream Lois has...

Hmmm if it isn't a dream though, I would have liked Clark to be standing and facing Lois instead of having his back turned to her.
