this Ben Affleck stuff is getting crazy. And since Josh Whedon has his own sex problems-promotion in the last 6 weeks is going to be hindered.

you know Affleck and Wheedon will get hit with 'sex' questions. They're out.

Although i was against it in another post-WB should ask Snyder for some 'pr' work.

Cavill is another option=however i'm not sure how they could use him.

Otherwise it's Gadot.Mamoa,flash,cyborg(names escape me at the moment).

I keep seeing that it will problematic for Whedon to be part of promotion and... I don't get it. The divorce rate being what it is, I mean... He cheated on his wife. Personal failing? Yeah. Is there some rule that I am not aware of that people that have committed infidelity are not allowed on talk shows or press junkets? Cuz... Past history indicates that's just not so. I don't know if he will take part in promotion but if he doesn't I don't think the reason will be that it came out he cheated on his wife.

Yeah. You’re right. I wouldn’t expect to see Affleck at all in the promotion of this film now.

I think the problem some people have with him(including his most loyal fanbase who disowned their fansite dedicated to him)...is not the cheating. But rather the other allegations that were made by his wife. She did say some damning things that he apparently said, and also implied that he abused his power to take advantage of young, powerless actresses. Just saying, I generally advocate seperating art with artist. People will say its just the word of his wife, but we should always believe the women when they say this? I dont know, I'm not saying I believe/disbelieve her.

I'm not going against Whedon for this, I'm just saying what people's reasoning might be.

I stumbled upon your Reddit post asking when the tickets were going to open for BVS in India, and your favourite batsman also happened to be an Indian (Ganguly IIRC). So assumed you were an Indian too!

I don't think Whedon is so necessary for the promotion of the movie. He could just appear and say what he had to do, but that's already been pretty much explained. And they may not want to confuse the public as to who the director is i.e. it's primarily a Zack Snyder film..

I guess with Ben, if he does join the press tour, there could be some restrictions from the studio, publicists etc. that the interviewers can't ask personal questions, as is frequently the case.

But if he doesn't join, then since this is an ensemble piece there are many others to lean on for the bulk of the press interviews esp. Gal and her recent rising star power.

It's not like Affleck set the world on fire for his press junkets of BvS. He always seemed frustrated and uncomfortable. I have no problem with the rest taking over. Gadot, Miller, Fisher and Momoa are personalities that could easily carry things. And don't forget there will be others like Amy and Diane Lane. Henry is the xfactor depending on how they plan to use him but if push comes to shove, he'd easily carry the torch. Henry is always happy to be there.

there are far more of these than you think. all over the world. It's an all hands on deck situation.

As far as 'charismatic'- Affleck is far and away the 'biggest' name.

Cavill is out for obvious reasons.

He is one of my favourites yes, but back when I followed cricket, I supported South Africa. I just liked their team. This was back in 2007-08s.

I have visited India a few times, I have relatives there...I did see BvS there too. Nice country, if you know the right places. Like Brazil...the gap between the priviledged and those who are not..is too big.

I'm from UK though. I think majority here from the states though, although I have seen a few brits here like me. Anyway back to JL

The people I was most interested in the press junkets were Ezra, Fisher and Momoa anyway...

I would be HAPPY if it was JUST Ezra Miller who marketed this movie. He's enthusiasm is infectous, and he is a funny, charming and thoughtful guy.

Cant wait to see him in the press tour.
