Agreed. Just look at X-Men or GOTG for superhero team ups where you just needed one movie to establish the characters without previous solo movies.

There's a difference between X-Men, GOTG, Suicide Squad, etc. and All-Star teams like the Avengers and Justice League. You can have a perfectly fine Avengers or JL film without solo features, but establishing the all-star credentials of the members is key to maximizing the BO potential.

This is more than likely the runtime considering the same theater posted the correct runtime of TLJ early.

150+ seems more like it. Although the runtimes seem all over the place with other theaters.

Ehh. I see no difference...its about story and characters first. Team up movies existed decades before Avengers, and they worked fine without solo movies earlier. Infact when I had seen The Avengers, I had only seen IM1 before that and followed it just fine. Seeing CA, Thor etc later didnt change my exp later either. As long as the characters are introduced and explored well, it doesnt matter at all, and "all star credentials" doesnt seem like a thing to me. YMMV.

Que all the people who said "it is too short" now saying "typical Snyder the movie is too long!!" :o

:funny: I was just thinking the same thing! Although I do think 150 mins is the perfect length. 170 mins might be a bit too much.

That 150 figure seems more like a placeholder guesstimate.

Seems like all the runtimes yet have been placeholders. When the real one pops up, I'm pretty sure we'll know.

So if it's 170 minutes then what will the Ultimate Edition be??? 210??? Lol

Has the film been as they say locked?

When will it need to be?

When are the first real preview showings expected?

I like that Flash poster above.

The runtime is 2 hours and 30 minutes, but it only takes The Flash just under 2 hours to get through.

It is locked since they have finished scoring/recorded. I think the real previews start late october/early november.

Give me the definitive version of the film the first time I see it

No more of this DCE(DLC)U

let's hope...It should stand on it's own as a solid film...but I wouldn't mind seeing an extended version with extra material if it also worked.

really curious for SWolf and how they portray him when not fighting.

Exactly. An extended version of films can be great for fans while leaving the theatrical for the GA and people who aren't quite so crazy about a film.
