I can't really tell if the shot of him smiling as he punches Steppenwolf into the ground is something that Snyder shot or not because his mouth area looks completely normal when compared to the other shots involving his CGI cover up.

If it really was something that Whedon directed then it's too bad that the quality of the CGI to cover his mustache wasn't like this for every other shot.

Man, I cant lie, CGI mouth or not, I was smilimg everytime Cavill was onscreen kicking ass....we just didnt get enough of it, man. I was looking forward to a full on Supes vs. Steppenwolf smackdown.

I used to complain about the Superman vs Zod fight from MOS because of its aesthetics but BvS and JL have now made me truly appreciate it.lol

For a so called trilogy, it is weird on how Superman's most intense and destructive fight sequence took place at the end of his origin film. Even the fight against Doomsday didn't feel as intense as the one from MOS. However the fight in BvS at least had scale to it.

The final fight against Steppenwolf lacked in both intensity and scale.

Agreed. And im sorry. There is no WAY thats all Zack filmed of the fight. No. Way. I refuse to believe it. That climax was definitely longer in Snyder's version. Especially Superman's part.

It's amazing on how a simple pat on the back can really go a long way in showing not only how far Bruce has come as a character but in displaying the start of a close friendship between him and Clark.

On another note, it is kind of weird on how Clark doesn't even bother wearing glasses in that scene where the movers are at because it has already been established that Superman's face is well known to the public.

Never thought about that, but it's true lol

So the movie is now available in HD somewhere or what?

Its all in the lighting. A few pages back one of you guys posted a pic of Supes in that Flash race scene with a more Snyder-like color filter and the suit looks MUCH better.

Lol you gotta love how Superman is smiling the entire time, Snyder is literally telling fanboys "are you people happy now?Is this what you wanted?!" LOL
That’s not Snyder which is why most of it was reshot :(

You mean I get to come home today and rewatch Icky Thump scene?

YEY :sly:

My answer to Snyder would be "Yes, this is what I wanted."

I swear... Either they worked on the mustache CGI in the interim between when the movie was released and before releasing it for Korea or it's nowhere near as noticeable on a smaller screen. I remember it looking bad in the Lois corn field scene but it looks flawless to me now.
