Anyone think that J. Edgar Hoover knew about the plot to assasinate President Kennedy, but did nothing about it? It was Kennedy who wanted to remove Hoover from the FBI.

No I dont believe that really. Ive always subscribed to the mob/cia theory. In Selwyn Raab's gigantic book 'The Five Families" He paints a pretty good picture of the who ,how and why.
The CIA created ties with the mob to get to Castro.(the mob attempted to poison Castro's food several times,paid for by the CIA)
Kennedy gets cluster ****ed by the CIA with the bay of pigs.. Kennedy wants to abolish the agency for back dooring him.
The mob had their hand in stealing the election for Kennedy in Chicago.Then JFK doesn't return the favor, sicking Bobby on them.

And even if you dont believe all that gobbledygook, you have to admit its plausible that the mob just wanted both Kennedy's gone for going after organized crime on the level they did.

Oswald was a qualified Sharpshooter.

And people have fired replicas of the sniper three times well within the six second time.

I have no idea if others were involved with Kennedy's death, and quite frankly I don't give a damn, but it's not out of the realm of very real possibility than Oswald had no help with the shot itself.

Qualified? He was average at best. The people that have pulled off what he supposedly did were skilled marksmen, some of the best in the world. Yes, it could be done. Likely? Probably not.

I go back and forth on this. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that he might have been one of the people firing, but I think he definitely had help. There are just too many weird circumstances surrounded this.

There is photographic and filmic evidence of it and she and other eye witnesses have said as much.

That's like saying "how naive to say Jack Ruby killed Oswald," even though that is what happened...on camera.

Exactly. Jackie Kennedy mentioned it in interviews years later. It's not like that was some bizarre theory, it's pretty much accepted fact at this point.

No. He was considered an above average shot for a trained sniper. It's all in the Warren Commission:

As compared to a civilian who had not received this intensive training, he would be considered as a good to excellent shot.782

I would be shocked if Oswald did this by himself, I do feel it is possible he was the only gunman, however.

All that implies is that he Delgado was with Oswald, he wasn't very enthusiastic about shooting. It's unlikely that he had similar apathy in Dallas. That doesn't really downplay the fact that Oswald was a trained, highly accurate sniper - when motivated.

It's possible Oswald worked alone, although the most probable theory is that he was paid by the mob and then abruptly shut up by the mob.
