I wasn't in the thread of Beauty and the Beast (I didn't even watch the film) and you painting everyone with the same brush speaks more about you and "depth" of your understanding of the situation.

No, I was most certainly talking about you. You do know people can go back to threads and read what you wrote right?
Where OutofBoose says he does not agree with the law, but then starts getting upset that Russia's crappy law is crappy and has state policy that is homophobic:
Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast - Part 2
I'm an idiot, but I have a decent memory.

It's still cringe. It's like straight from Anakin-Padme conversations.

Yeah, I don't agree. But not the issue of course. It's how you went about it. You know, with the nasty little jab.

It doesn't matter. There's good writing and bad writing. It's off-putting and embarrassing instead of seductive. I don't know who can save such line. Probably nobody.

It most certainly matters. You wrote something completely different, and did so in a way that was clearly meant to mock that the characters are gay. Or in this case, gay and bisexual respectively.
Context of course matters. By the way, she is not trying to be seductive. She is clearly trying to judge Ellie's interest, while being playful. Because these are teenage girls, who aren't pick up artist. They have emotions they themselves are trying to protect.
And from what I have seen, the material is going over very well. Who it isn't going over well with are those that freaked out that Ellie was gay in the first place.

I find writing like that vulgar and tasteless, so my version isn't different.

Yeah, you are avoiding what you wrote here. You decided how to deliver your message. One that does not compute with the material shown. At all.

You're missing the point again... I'm saying that the trailer had no surprises and nothing to intrigue with.

Nope. You specifically complained that a sequel to a game with horse riding has horse riding in it. As if it was somehow copying RDR2. A game that was also a sequel to a game with horse riding and gunplay.
