That's where I quit last night. ITs so good I just wish I had more time to play. Gonna get in a couple hours before bed tonight I hope.

Damn, this initial load screen with the spores takes forever!

Ok loving the hell out of this game lol. I think I'm almost done I just met with
Tommy at the compound I love that when they meet again they just hug. Other games would have just had them still being mad at each other so I respect ND for that especially after what happend with those brothers Sam and Henry

Was finally able to find a store that had this in stock. I played about an hour or two...not entirely sure, I've just encountered my first clicker. I'm really loving the game so far, though I was a little put off at first by Joel's motivation to take Ellie, but I have a feeling his motivation will change here soon.

Also, the opening scene is pretty brutal and tense. Who they have you start the game as was a very wise choice, emotionally speaking. That being said, I think the time jump was somewhat jarring - I ended the opening scene (funny how that is the word I chose over "level") with a strong emotional connection to Joel, but after the opening credits, so much time was skipped, and he's obviously changed quite a bit that I lost all emotional ties ND spent the opening making me feel with the character...to be honest, instead of wanting to know what happened to him and how he got into the crowd/business he did, I no longer care about Joel im sure we'll find out more as the game continues, but I think they could have handled the translation better - shown more or exposition of who he has become...we got a wonderful scene introducing who the character WAS, that they should haven given us a little more insight into who the character is NOW, instead of just tossing us into the middle of a revenge side plot.

I dunno, I just want to be able to identify with, or at the least understand the character a little better from the get go so that I care about what happens to him and why he's doing the things he's doing. Im not asking for all the answers - there's a difference between giving us enough info to care but leaving questions to be answered as the story unfolds, and introducing a character then BAM! look how different he is - doesn't Armageddon suck? The former makes me want to play so i can learn more because I care; the latter requires me to play to learn more, not because I care, but because I don't care and I want to.

But whatevs. I'm still highly enjoying the game. Gameplay feels like a highly polished Uncharted, which is to be expected, and isn't a complaint in the slightest.

The aiming in this game is a pain in the ass need to upgrade that after I upgrade health

Just finished the game today. What a great mix of [blackout]Children of Men and The Road[/blackout]. Earlier this year I was blown away by Bioshock Infinite, and this just pushes it just as far if not further in a new direction. One of the best told stories in recent memory, fully taking advantage of the medium. Can't wait to play it again.

Finally just finished downloading the game and played the first scene.

Naughty Dog seemed to have blown me away yet again.

Can't wait for the weekend which should be the next chance I get to play.

This could very well be the most captivating game I've ever played.

There's something so satisfying about taking out a building full of human scavengers without firing a single shot.

My favourite thing to do towards the end was just hide around the corner with an axe and then give em a bit of the ol' 'Here's Johnny' treatment.

Maaaaan I can't wait 'til the price drops a little! I want to play it now!!

I need to stop visiting this thread, i keep get spoilers of spots in the game lol.

Bring on the weekend, time for some gaming.

Just finished the game for the others who beat it. What did you think about the ending?
Over all I loved it but I can see why others didn't what did anybody think about Joel not telling Ellie the truth

It's a fascinating moral dilemma, really. I can't blame Joel for making the choice he made. I do suppose I grew attached to Ellie as well, and it would have been sad for that whole journey to have come to an end in such a horrible way. That is, ****ing brain removal or whatever. Yes, there would maybe have been a chance for a vaccine for mankind, but still. I understand the moral conundrum there, and Joel's decision fit the character and gelled with the player's journey.

Agreed. I mean it was kinda selfish but this is a persons life were talking about and your right it totally makes sense that Joel would make that the decision. Throughout the game Joel became a father figure to Ellie and so did we as the game went on I started to care for Ellie and her well-being. Even though I'm on Joel's side with the choice that he made the ending still leaves me with that feeling.... did he make the right choice.

Man this game is phenomenal. It is the only game that would make me want to buy a ps3 if I hadn't beat it already. It is just phenomenal. Easily my 4th favorite game of this generation behind Bioshock Infinite, Gears 3, and Arkham City

Me saying this is probably redundant at this point but this game was spectacular. It is truly a masterpiece and defiantly one of if not the, greatest games I have ever played. Every single thing about it is brilliantly executed and I don't believe could've been achieve in other medium. About the ending, there are some really interesting articles that have been written about it, this one sums up my thoughts on it.

This was a great game. I finally was able to finish it which I don't think was going to happen

Because I kept dieing from the Bloaters that were in the Parking Tunnel. but I used 2 Nail Bombs and a Cocktail to beat them both. anyway yeah about the ending true Joel might of been a little selfish but I can't blame him for making the choice he made. Makes me wonder if we will get a sequel and if Ella would find out the truth.

Having just beat the game, I'll say I liked the story telling and the graphics. But the gameplay was a little boring to me. I'd give it a 6/10. Not bad at all, but not really ground breaking to me.
