Funny how a movie that looks like made-for-cable would cost 60 million, as the special effects don't look like they justify the cost. Did they overpay Chris Klein or something?

God, who knows...

They should've at least gone the Underworld 3 route and kept the budget low enough to make some money. And actually advertise the movie on tv.

This is the only part of the review that might get me to watch this once on DVD...and for laughs.

"Charlie Nash possesses two things. The first is a magical plot thread finding computer that instantly can give him news stories Sherlock ****ing Holmes with Google and a fistful of clues couldn’t find. And the second is ATTITUDE. Serious, real, honest to god 80’s attitude. Imagine every bad cop movie you saw in the 80’s and try to remember every Don Johnson impression you ever saw in those movies. Now multiply that by the biggest number you can think of. I’m talking government bank bailout big. THAT’S how ****ing awesome Chris Klein is in this. He strikes poses. He hangs up his phone with a whip of his head and the phrase “NASH OUT!” He effortlessly puts together complicated plot lines, then manages to oversimplify them to the point that a mewling idiot could understand it – all while managing to sound surprised and shocked at his own brilliance with a Keanu Reeves like level of film confusion. He then bumbles and stumbles his way through the plot, completely ignorant of the fact that he actually doesn’t have anything to do. So he FINDS things to do. Even if it doesn’t make a lick of god damned sense.

Every moment he’s off camera the film is lacking for it. He doesn’t have a place anywhere in this movie, and yet, you cannot take your eyes off of him. I want so desperately, SO DESPERATELY, to believe that Klein was doing this intentionally. That he read the script, saw the zeroes on the check and said “****, it. If they’re gonna offer me a **** sandwich, I’m gonna eat it with a ****ing smile.” Seriously. When you’re done here, google some photos of him from the film. Note the ever present stubble, the look of unbridled, determined intensity. No way does anybody think that looks cool. Not anyone that didn’t just wake up from a coma, that is. That said, I’m not denying that this film might have been made to capture the all too oft neglected “coma patient” demographic. It certainly feels like it’s playing to them."

Man, I'll only watch this movie someday to hear "NASH OUT!":oldrazz:

Oh, for sure. And wait for a rap, too.

I imagine that shooting on location in Bangkok is expensive.

For a movie like this, they should just do it at the Universal Studio and I doubt anyone would've noticed.

Lol, I might just see this film after all. It depends on the ticket price . It sounds like such a train wreck that it'll be fun to watch and laugh at. The last laughable bad film I saw in thearters was Van Helsing. Maybe I'll catch it on lifetime in a few months.Lol.

No wire work can be as bad as the climactic scene in RoboCop 3. And I'm talking about the moment when he was just leaving the building, not the crappy CG outdoor flying.

Just watched the clips. This is BIRDS OF PREY bad. When the fighting is even remotely poorly executed in a STREET FIGHTER movie, you know there's trouble. None of this action resembles any thing close to "street fighting" or "Street Fighter" to me.

Why is Kristin Kreuk grunting every time she does ANYTHING? I mean, she GRUNTS when she TURNS AROUND! And Vega's growling like...what the hell is this stuff, and speaking in a deep voice?

"You should learn some manners. Never puts your hands on a lady"?

O...k.

Why do they even show her father fighting? Why does Justin Marks feel the need to start every movie with action?

The dialogue seems to be horrible.

Per the reviews, it's so bad it's good. I guess it could be worse. It could have been just bad. It's a shame the movie ends with a hint at the movie that should have been. Ah well.

I think she's just constipated. Haven't you seen those pics a few fans posted sometime ago? The closeup of her face when she is snarling with her teeth showing. I was laughing so hard because it looked like she was having trouble going to the bathroom and what made it worse was the pic beneath that one was of her jumping. But it looked more like she got lifted up in the air in a squatting stance.

I so wanted someone to make a manip where under her(when she is jumpin/squatting in the air)there was like a geyser of water from a toilet. Juvenile? Yes, I know but sorry that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw those pics.

I'm serious, though...I know Chun Li makes a lot of noise in the games...but Kreuk grunts every single time she does anything.

And I have to say...Justin Mark's script didn't exactly improve when actors start speaking the lines.

It's most likely because of her lack of any martial arts exeperience, same could be said about a number of other people in that movie.

She's trying to act tough but just doesn't know how.

It goes beyond that. He occasionally writes stuff that should be on Saturday morning cartoons.

"I'm just getting started".

Really?

Jonas Brothers were gonna beat this anyways, but whoever went up against that **** was gonna have a time anyway.

I definitely plan on checking this movie out this weekend hopefully. I have been waiting for its release and didn't realize it was already here!

Kirstins angry face is like Tobey's cry face.

I still say she looks like she's trying to drop a load.

At least there's something positive about bad movies. Reviews are always hilarious.
