This is brilliant! I was thinking how is it going to go over with The American Indians that the filmmakers were going to paint Depp's face darker to look American Indian, instead his whole face is covered in war paint! Brilliant, or just just plain crazy? Verbinski I say is crazy but in a good way creatively to do just this! For those who are complaining that Depp is a mis cast being a white guy, he has American Indian blood in him.

I would imagine at some point we'll see the "classic" look for The Lone Ranger. They're not going to want Hammer's physique to be stuck in a suit the entire film.

It's possible. Maybe something close to what he wears in the Dynamite comics. Personally, I think it would be cool if he wore a duster. That would enhance the dramatic flair. I can't see the color blue working on him for film, though. Make it grey.

Hammer looks cool (thought thejury's still out on how he wil be for me) and my first reaction to seeing Depp was laughter. He looks like Jack Sparrow in disguise.

I was against the casting of Depp as Tonto but I dunno I've changed my mind after seeing this picture. Now my issue is with Hammers costume....mainly the mask. Reminds me of a rubber ninja turtle mask or something that Hamburgler would wear. lol
