The full trailer is a bit disappointing, I get the feeling that a lot of the movie is just going to be Tonto tutoring the Lone Ranger with comedic hijinks and that the only action set piece is the train sequence.

Green hornet was unbearable and im glad it bombed. This might be huge though but i didnt like the abligatory shot of the pirates logo as if there almost trying to confuse people.

a Disney-Bruckheimer-Verbinski summer movie that wouldnt have an action scene every 15 minute? hahahah no way. t:

this will be action packed.

BTW, did they change Depp's voice? In the first teaser it sounded like a growl and in this one it sounds like his normal pitch.

He sounded cooler in the teaser.

Since Ranger is coming from the same clan as Pirates... who knows,, but history would tell you its gonna be good.

I mean if Pirates had not come out yet and I told everyone in here that Depp is going to play a drunk Pirate in a movie. Im pretty sure it would be the same wtf reaction.. Just gotta wait and see

I agree. Which is why I'm surprised he sounds "normal" here. I thought that first teaser was a hint of his way of speaking throughout the film. It sounded different than anything he's done before but worked very well, I thought. Ah well.

Yeah but that was something brand new and pretty original, this is obviously them just trying to blatantly re-capture that pirates spirit. Hell they even included the damn pirates logo in the trailer.

I really feel Depp went overkill with his decisions to do all these blockbusters the last decade now. I think the audience is tiring of him at this point.

It's possible but they have used pretty much the same train sequence shots in both trailers so far, it makes it seem like that's all there is, unless of course the reasons to hide the supernatural elements are quality related.

The POTC movies were hardly actionfests and reports suggest this film blew the bulk of it's budget on the train sequence.

Yes! I can see why he was cast as batman in the JLA movie. He got my vote if they recast him again in that. Although I still want John Blake from TDKR has bats.

I would imagine there would have to be action in this movie other than the train sequence. Obviously something happens in the canyon, and the whole movie can't be about that one sequence. Movie looks fairly entertaining, if a little tonally inconsistent. Hammer's into it, and is going to be fantastic.

It still amazes me how Depp claims to be part Native American and proud of that heritage and yet he'd play the picture of a racist Native American stereotype.

Well, I've never met any Indians, but given the many tribes, maybe some did speak that way. Long as he doesn't say "how".

And most Americans are at least part Indian (whether they realize it or not).

I thought Depp would've done a version of the 'other' Native American accent. Like John Redcorn. I've met some NA in Nevada and New Mexico and some have that cool accent.

but is this the big train sequence in the trailer?

i thought that this is a small train action scene in the middle of the movie.
