Maggie Greene Season 6 Promo Poster

Fans are speculating that Maggie's pregnant when Glenn insisted she stay at Alexandria to keep an eye on a Deanna, while he, Rick, and other volunteers handle the horde of walkers in the quarry. Especially when she responded back to Glenn with "That's not the only reason".

That's what I was thinking too.

Disappointed she didn't fire her pistol once or kill any Wolves in "JSS". She missed out on a lot of the action in this ep.

Yeah, I was expecting her to lead the charge or at least be a huge part of it... Overall, I'm disappointed we didn't see her and even Rosita do more in this ep but I guess they're grooming Maggie to be more of a leader like Deanna rather than be part of the fighters.

I hope she is more a leader than Deanna is. Deanna seemed to be helpless in this situation with no skills to handle organization or response to an attack.

[BLACKOUT]She lost her extended family in season two, she lost her dad in season four, she lost her sister in season five, and now she's lost her husband (most likely). [/BLACKOUT]
They might as well change Maggie's last name to Stark.

One of the two was going to die at some point and im glad it's Glenn. Maggie is a more interesting character. I hope she'll get fiercer and hardened by this.

There hasn't been that much of her lately. Hope that changes. Seeing as how she's lost her dad, her sister, and now most likely her other half.

The saddiest thing about loosing 'him' this way is that nobody will truly know what happened; they'll all be left assuming.

Judging by the promo for next weeks ep Maggie will be getting another search for Glenn arc. Is it impossible for the writers to give Maggie an arc that doesn’t revolve around Glenn? It’s been a while since she was given an interesting arc. Most of last season she seemed to be oblivious and neglectful of her sister being abducted but alive (which I blame on poor writing), was also mostly in the background, and was overshadowed by other characters. And so far this season nothing really interesting story/character wise is happening with her. However, we still have 12 episodes left. So I’ll be patient. Just think that the Maggie searching for Glenn subplot has been played out already.

Yeah, Maggie seems to get lost in the shuffle except whenever something happens to Glenn. It seems like the writers don't know what to do with her.

It pains me to say this but the only way for Maggie to grow as a character is if Glenn died. It’ll help the character step up more. And maybe even push the writers to give her a more worthy character arc.

I don't think he has to die for that to happen but it is the easiest way to do it.

I’m sure there is a way for Maggie to grow as a character without having to resort to killing off Glenn, but I believe the writers are just too lazy to explore that. Her character growth has been stagnant, imo. And it’s been a while since she had an interesting arc, imo. Maybe by killing off Glenn they’d be forced to develop Maggie without always relying on a plot point revolving around his character just to get her more involved in the story.

Well, it seems like they're poising her to take over Deanna so I guess that's their plan for her? I miss seeing her in action though and being a bad ass.

I don't know if they will take her in that direction or not. I don't really see her as the administrative type. But they need someone to fill the role and in this world you don't always get the ideal people for the job.

Well just as fans speculated Maggie’s pregnant. I’m glad she came to her senses and realized that searching for Glenn would be another suicide mission b/c not only was she putting her own life in danger but also her unborn child‘s.

My wife kept shaking her head at me as I walked around our house today saying, in the deepest Southern accent that I could muster, "I'm 'pragnint' and I "cay-unt" find Glenn."
