I think I liked Joker in MOTP better than ROTJ just because it was more classic JOKER vs BATMAN. I can't really explain it too well, but I loved MOTP

--dk7

ya exactly. It just had that more...classic Batman feel.

Where as ROTJ was Terry vs Joker (who was wearing a jump suit with a shaved head)

it was still awesome, but it's just my taste. I loved the humor too in MOTP...And Bruce vs Joker is the best

yeah i was never a big fan of terry, its like Jason all over again, and the frankenstein joker didnt look quite right.

ya, you know what I'm talking about:)

--dk7

have to admit, the whole torture scene made it worth it though, if you saw the uncut version :yay: of course Joker actually died in it so :csad: and the twist was kinda lame. a computer chip? really? cmon Mr. J...

The Joker: What's the matter, Batman? No witty comeback? No threat? Then I'll provide the narration...
[the screen flickers to life and "Our Home Movies" appears]
The Joker: I'll begin with how I peeled back the layers of the boy's mind. Oh, he bravely tried to fight it at first. You would've been proud to see him so strong.
[on the screen, the home video of Joker electrocuting Robin appears]
The Joker: But all too soon, the shocks and the serums took their toll, and the boy began to share such secrets with me. Secrets that are mine alone to know... Bruce. It's true, Batsy! I know everything. And kinda like the kid who peeks at his Christmas presents, I must admit, it's sadly anti-climactic. Behind all the sturm and bat-o-rangs, you're just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy! It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic.
[pause]
The Joker: Oh, what the heck, I'll laugh anyway. HA HA HA HA HA HAA!
(batman crashes through window grabs joker)
The Joker: [to Batman] If you don't like the movie, I've got slides.

[Batman tosses Joker out of the projection booth and slams him against a large building block]
Bruce Wayne: I'll break you in two...
The Joker: Oh, Batman, if you'd had the guts for that kind of fun, you'd have done it years ago! I, on the other hand...
[draws a switchblade, slashes Batman across the chest and stabs him in the leg. Batman falls down the pile of building blocks and hits the ground hard. Joker jumps down beside him]
The Joker: You've lost, Batman. Robin is mine. The last sound you'll hear will be our laughter.
[picks up the gun and tosses it to Robin]
The Joker: Here you go, sonny-boy! Make daddy proud! Deliver the punch line.
[Robin laughs. He pulls the trigger and the BANG flag pops out]
Bruce Wayne: Tim...
[Robin only continues to laugh]
The Joker: Do it!
[Robin turns and shoots the Joker, impaling him with the flag]
The Joker: That's not funny... that's not...
[dies]

That's the part i loved about ROTJ! dk7, i agree that MOTP is a really good showcase of batman vs. joker, i just loved the flashback scene in ROTJ because of how the joker tortured robin and really got under batman's skin.

A truly magnificent scene. ROTJ was the darkest version of BTAS Joker. Definitely Hamill's darkest performance as Joker.

i really like his look in ROTJ too....minus the shaved head of course....but i thought that they had progressed really really well with his facial expressions. I always liked that "new" look (the flashback look) better than the new batman adventures look. I dunno why but the face of that look just didn't do it for me

this conversation is making me go back and watch all the shows online lol

im pretty sure it is supposed to be slicked back dracula style

oh ok, i suppose that will make it look better in my eyes.....now it's dracujoker:oldrazz:

and as for my favorite joker comic.....im gonna say....the killing jo....haha had you there didn't i?

but in all seriousness, i would say arkham asylum....that's my perfect vision of the joker :woot:

no Jokers hair in ROTJ is slicked back hair. Also I love the scream Joker does when he gets electrocuted.. sends chills up my spine.. I kind of wish for Joker to die in a more dramatic way though

I disliked the TNBA Joker design, not enough color, he only wore purple and green, and his lips were not red. The TAS design is better.

But I love ROTJ, the Joker was quite dark in there, and had some really great lines. I loved MOTP Joker as well(probably my favorite from the animated series).

you havent seen the uncut version? i posted it a couple of comments ago, its a much more fitting death.

as for my favorite comic, im not really sure but im leaning towards detective comic number something or other, the one where joker kidnaps Robin and runs over holiday shoppers making Tim watch

which Joker comic is your favorite?

Grant Morrisons Batman #663, Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, Death in the Family, Batman Confidential, Dini's Detective Comics #826 issue where he kidnaps Robin in the car,

and Going Sane, for sure

others would include Laughing Fish, Five Way Revenge, The Man Who Laughs etc etc, these are good but they're not favourites of my own.

NO i have seen the uncut version, in the uncut version his death is kind of meh.

The best Joker death imo is TDKR, when he twists his own neck

i love and hate batman confidential's joker
it's cool how they did the whole new approach to an origin...but i can't stand they did an origin....

that's the reason why i love the TDK joker so far....instead of being forced to become the joker (ala dump in chemical bath), he chooses to be the joker.

I could go into a big ranting explanation but i wont because everyone has heard it all before:oldrazz:

i hate it because its all batmans fault, everything, the cut smile, the mob dumping him in the vat...part of the joker i like is that batman had no part in his creation
