Guys, you're arguing in circles at this point and we get it. Let the argument go.

Well why did it perform better? Dr. Strange appeared in Infinity War/Endgame, don't you think that would have done something? Also Scarlet Witch was in the movie + the Professor. The second one was 6 years after the original and performed "better".
Marvel has fumbled so much when it came to the character of War Machine and Don Cheadle. Dude has probably lost so many good roles waiting on Armor Wars as a series and now as a film and still nothing.
Well what were they thinking upgrading a TV series to a theaterical film anyway? When they probably initially decided to give Rhodey his own show because he is not appealing enough to headline a solo film (which is probably the case with Hawkeye, Vision and Scarlet Witch).Since it's more and more likely Armor Wars doesn't happen, I sure hope he has a role in Doomsday.
Quantumania underperforming and The Marvels flopping definitely caught them off guard. But even if those two movies were successful, they still added 4 place holder film dates for a single year (2022 to 2025 iirc), while also planning to do at least 4 shows for Disney+ per year, and it affected the quality of the movies, and the shows didn't really live up to their potential as Marvel Studios was doing so many projects at the same time. Vfx time management was also terrible based from reports.
I don't know why no one at Disney didn't see it as doing way too much, and because of it, they are facing repercussions from decisions they made 3 to 4 years ago.
And they clearly had other ips to mine and there are other studios out there that could produce content for Disney+. It still doesn't make to give a single studio that amount of projects in such a short period of time. Some movies take 5 years to make. Releasing 8 different projects in a single year is such a recipe for disaster, the most popular brand in the world isn't immuned from that.Because Disney was chasing a Netflix (over)valuation and needed to accelerate subscriber growth for their fledgling streaming app.

Quantumania and Eternals became the first two rotten films in RT. The other mcu shows don't seem popular. Blade and Armor Wars are in limbo. Brave New World and Daredevil went through extensive reshoots.
In hindsight streaming services are doing more damage than good. Every major studio has a platform that needs to constantly make crap to keep subscribers. Is like the old days of direct-to-video again only with better cinematography.
