Since this thread was posted 30 minutes after my question and the first response was glib sarcasm, I'll repeat my question here:
Any fans of the show Constantine want to fill me in what it was about and what happened with it so far? Do we think they'll treat it as a shared universe or just reuse the actor and character?
Hopefully this means more people will check out the Constantine show as well.
Who do you think he's bringing back to life?

In terms of whether we should assume that this is firmly considered the same version of Constantine from his own series (and thus retroactively linking the Constantine series to the Arrow-verse), Mericle said, Absolutely. He is coming in fully as who he was on the show. Were getting wardrobe. Were very excited to have him. Hes a tremendous actor. Its so cool to have that cross-pollination. We are very lucky and DC was very generous letting us have him.
If it's possible I want Jim Corrigan to show up as well.![]()
IGN is reporting that he's involved in bringing back Sara.
That is an interesting idea, I like it. I am looking forward to Constantine's appearance. The premise that the "Flarrow"-verse is operating on (which was revealed by Stephen Amell several months ago) is that this version of Constantine is an expert on Lazarus Pits, hence why he'd be brought in to help resurrect someone using one.
"There is an opportunity for interconnectivity with any DC television show that exists. Like, as an example, yesterday Constantine was cancelled. I know, it’s brutal… It’s a good show, and it should come back. And it may come back, like there are various platforms where it could come back.”
"Constantine is an NBC show, I’m on the CW. I had discussions with DC Comics -- not NBC or the CW -- DC Entertainment about guest starring on Constantine when it was on the air. That was and is on the table."
"The reason that I was going to guest star on Constantine, at least the idea that we were throwing around, was [Constantine's] an expert when it comes to the Lazarus Pit, which is now something that is a part of, and will continue to be a part of, Arrow."
