It's actually around $15,000-20,000 higher. Money is also being raised directly through his website but there is not a counter for it. His campaign manager said at one point that they had $60,000 and at the time the counter at ActBlue was at $45,000. That counter is now at $69,000, so the total is roughly $84,000-89,000.
hahha, where are these politicians getting this idea that accusing people of being anti-american works?

BS, this is another perfect example of the double standard Democrats typically find themselves engaged in during any political climate. It's certainly not okay for people to scream 'terrorist' or 'kill him' in any environment about Obama, but it's equally appalling that people will wear t-shirts to Obama's gatherings which refer to Palin as the c-word.

I don't hear ANY of YOU criticizing Obama for allowing that to happen at his rallies. Nope, the standard of 'decency' only applies to Republicans, apparently...

So, according to you, people in troubled times don't get defensive? Don't step back to places and things that seem safe and protecitve, like church and guns?

What a strange world you live in.

No one wearing a C word shirt has made threats against the life of Palin. Or put a "Waterboard Obama" note on their website, the way the REPUBLICAN PARTY of San Francisco did on theirs. (let alone that racist imaged Obama Food Stamp bill, put out by another organization.)

BTW, how did someone wearing that shirt get in? My understanding is that Palin's audiences are pre-screened ala the ones who meet George Bush.

My guess is John McCain himself approves of that message (the C word) given his history of using it towards his own wife in public.

Isn't it the media, and not Obama's campaign, who was "targeting" Joe, who made himself a target in the first place?

Bu but the media WORKS for Obama!

I'm hoping a World Series game gets rained out so McCain can claim that is Obama's fault!

YES! you are one of my favorite posters now. I have a Gurren Laggen Revotech with him pointing to the sky, pretty epic if I must say so. Kamina is the best character though, hands down. (Especially when he merges Gurren Laggen for the first time hoping it would work haha)

Lol. Ya, (without trying to spoil) I'll just say Kamina is up there with Wolfwood (in Trigun) for me for their roles in their respective animes.

you mean how he dies? I saw a few episodes after that when SImon went through his depression but nothing past that. He really stole the show for the first season and was such a great admirable character. I have it on my computer and really should get around to watching it.

Now, that's an interesting ida... are the C word shirt guys getting where they can be seen because McCain's people put them there?

No evidence for this, yet but given that "Joe the Plumber" has pretty much been revealed to be an unlicensed plumber at best and a man highly unlikely to be on the verge of owning a $280,000 a year plumbing business.

In short, he's looking like a plant who gave numbers engineered to make Obama's plan look bad. Of course anyone who Obama's response to him (also on the video) the Senator addressed Joe's concerns. Joe would only have taken a 3% tax hike on the $30,000 above and beyond the first $250,000.

Oddzball, that wasn't what I meant. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of McCain complaining about sexism when he's been guilty of it on plenty of occasions (IN PUBLIC) throughout his life.

Yeah. I mean overall Kamina added more to Simon's character than Wolfwood did to Vash's. I just meant more in the way of a badass, cool, and awesome character dying in a tragic but badass way that stays with you. Spike from Bebop was like that too.

I do recommend watching the rest of the series tho. It goes thru a serious slump, but picks up and stays good throughout the entire show. By the end Simon starts acting more like Kamina...not to spoil, but the series takes a small time jump.

Ok done derailing with anime talk lol, gonna get off the Hype for a bit as I have a few things to do.

McCain is "proud" of these people.

O.o OMFG :facepalm

Bunch of ignorant redneck ******s. Who gives a flying **** about any of them. That's ALL McCain/Palin have left now, and there aren't anywhere near enough of them to get a victory.

I do like that they have that same fat bald idiot with the little monkey with the Obama sticker on it who was later caught on video by a major network sheepishly pulling the sticker off and giving the monkey away to a small chil dnearby. Moron.

....that's....wow.

Rallies like these aren't even hard to find. It's not like it's 7 videos showing the same McCain rally. It's at the point where even hardcore McCain supporters have trouble spinning it, or pull the, "Bah it's the same at both rallies" line...:whatever:

That really speaks a lot to the kind of crowds McCain and Palin pull anymore, I know not all of their supporters are like this, but they sure have one hardcore racial, hateful, bigoted following.

I mean some of the things they said..."The only difference inbetween Osama and Obama is the BS", "Go back to Kenya"....WTF?

Base Republicans? :oldrazz:

So, I finally got a chance to watch part of the Letterman appearance McCain did. Damn...Letterman kind of beat the crap out of him. He was asking questions the MSM ought to be:

The Gordon Liddy bit (at the 3:10 mark) that froze McCain was brilliant.

I wish the MSM would bring up this crap. Hammer away at Palin and her husband's support of the AIP. How can they roll footage of Rev. Wright on a 24 hour basis and not even discuss Joe Vogler. His statements are a hundred times more damning and insulting than Wright's could ever be.

JOHN MCCAIN HAS NEW STRATEGY IN VA

That's right, John McCain has decided to focus on "real Virginia." And how will he do this? Why, by creating a third Virginia state:

dkrealvirginiamap.jpg

:yay:

This kind of stuff needs to stop. It's hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube, but Republicans need to take a stand and speak out against some of the behavior they've allowed to fester:
A tale of two networks

Carl Cameron and Ed Henry are both top-flight reporters.

But they work for networks which are viewed in, shall we say, differing lights by Republican activists.

So when Fox's Cameron and CNN's Henry took to opposing risers today at a McCain rally in Woodbridge, Virginia, their receptions were starkly different.

"CNN sucks!," yelled one voter at Henry. "Communists go home," shouted another"

At one point, Henry was hit with a flying pack of chewing gum.

Toward the end of McCain's speech -- which a handful of especially passionate activists ignored to hurl insults at Henry and other reporters -- a chant went up: "We want Fox, we want Fox."

Across the outdoor courtyard where the rally was held, they had it.

Cameron was swarmed after the event by a few dozen people, many of whom beseiged the correspondent for autographs, pictures and handshakes.

Back across the way, Henry wrapped up his work for the day more or less alone.

Which beats getting pelted with projectiles.

Of course, if both had anything to say about it they'd probably just as soon be neither cheered nor jeered.

But that world has long since passed.

Thank you, Mr. Agnew.

The bald guy with the Obama monkey...."Little Hussein wanted to see truth, and good Americans"....lol, well neither is to be found at that rally.

If you've ever been to Johnstown, PA or anywhere near there this really wouldnt surprise you. There's a reason why the area of PA between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is referred to as "Pennsyl-tucky." It's filled with mouth-breathing, gun-toting morons.
