Lieberman in a weird way was a good balance to Gore's ticket.
At the time, yes. Now Lieberman is a joke.

First Black and now this. Like I said before..McCain backer says terrorist attack likely

(let the fear mongering begin...again)

Different candidate, Same crap.
In other words, McBush.![]()
This is one of his supporters who said it, not him. By your logic Supes, Barack Obama must believe the white man created AIDS to kill the black man because one of his backers said it.
It was never Bush himself that made the connections between 9-11, Terrorist and Iraq. It was always his "supporters" and "surrogate" that did all the dirty work and he just sat back and let them go. That's how he won in 04, By letting his people scare the crap out of everyone while he reaps the benefits. This is one of his supporters who said it, not him. Now we've got McCain doing the same thing this year. He just sits there and lets his people sprinkle us with little tidbits of fear here and there while he stands back and says "Oh well I don't agree with that", But dose nothing to stop them.
He did it in the primary with the TV ad that tried to connect Obama with Muslims. He's done it with Charlie Black and I'll bet you he does nothing with this story but say he disagrees with it.![]()
Which Obama supporter said that? Wright? This is one of his supporters who said it, not him. By your logic Supes, Barack Obama must believe the white man created AIDS to kill the black man because one of his backers said it.
Yeah, I'd love it if that was true, It's a nice ideal, but it dosen't work in the real world. In the real world people tend to believe anything they hear, Whether it comes from the candidates mouth or one of his supporters.I have to agree with this. We should judge candidates by their thoughts and actions, not their supporters.
And Obama SHOULD be hit for what Clark said IMO. I have no problem with the Right going after Obama over Clark. It was a dumbass thing to say and he was wrong.Good god, surrogates are used on both sides.
Wake up...
Perfect example: Wesley Clark.............come on. It's fine to support someone, and I'm all for supporting Obama, I like the guy. But don't close your eyes to one and and turn around and point the finger the other direction....hell even Democrat backers are saying that Clark was put out there for a reason. But hey, that's how politics work....

What Wesley Clark Really Said About John McCain
I'm honestly surprised that this, THIS comment has caused so much fuss???![]()

This is being blown way out of proportion. Clark's comments weren't even close to offensive. People are so sensitive this election. It's starting to be pretty sad to watch. I blame the media. The Presidential race has become just another reality show for these people.
In challenge to McCain, majority against free trade

McCain: With his finger on the pulse of the people because he doesn't have one of his own.

Lieberman has become such a joke. He should just just change his party affiliation already. Part of me wonders if McCain was hoping having Lieberman as his unofficial spokeperson would win him some votes from Democrats. I think instead it's backfiring on Lieberman. Does anyone really even consider the guy a Democrat posing as an Independent anymore?
And to add to it, I just love the fact that he technically isn't a Democrat, but he has them by the balls and can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants.
