McCain Exploits Wife for Topless Biker Beauty Pageant.

We're talking about a contest that has women dance around half naked, wet t-shirt contests, and sexually suggestive pickle eating. Highly misogynist.

Where is the media on this? Where are the woman's rights groups calling foul? Where is the outrage?

If Obama did this, you can practically hear in your imagination the guys on Fox and Friends or Sean Hannity talking about how repulsive it is that Obama would offer up his wife in this way. The clip would be played continuously for weeks.

Apparently, another clip of this event, you can clearly hear people in the crowd yelling at McCain's wife "show us your boobs".

"Well, he was just joking, let's give him a pass".

Okay, fair enough... but where does McCain actually stand on women's issues?

I think he says they should still be allowed to vote. I guess that's cool, but I'm more old school....

When it comes to women's issues McCain kinda blows.

I think you meant "McCain puts 14 year old girl in her place."

And, if you ask me, McCain kind of got owned by that 14 year old girl. She set him up to basically admit he's not a big women's right supporter and then handed the mic off to someone older who said "she's FOURTEEN!", which kind of made him look like a dick. Hehe!

:lmao: It doesn't sound like this really worked in his favor, to be honest. But, nice way to sell out your wife. He better be nice to her. If she cuts off his trust fund he'll be homeless.

Sorry jag, I've just got Obama running through my mind :(

<Paris Hilton>That's hawt!<Paris Hilton>

Speaking of Hilton, I watched her response to McCain. She clearly had a lot of help with it, but it's nothing short of brilliant. She owns McCain with it (and takes a pop at Obama while she's at it). McCain even tried to laugh it off and take it as an endorsement but it's pretty clear from watching the video that she thinks he's a jackass.

Paris Hilton says she's 'like, totally ready to lead,' in a Web video released in response to John McCain's ad that used her image. (FunnyorDie.com)

Socialite Paris Hilton is getting even with John McCain, after he used her image last week in an ad mocking Barack Obama as an international celebrity.
Hilton released a Web video of her own Tuesday saying her inclusion in McCain’s ad must mean she’s running for president.
“So thanks for the endorsement, white-haired dude,” Hilton says in the ad, while sitting outside in a skimpy, leopard-print bikini. “And I want America to know that I’m, like, totally ready to lead.”
The tongue-in-cheek video is laced with age-based insults. Hilton may not be known for her trenchant wit, but the two-minute spot is a satirical blend — part “Daily Show,” part “Legally Blonde.”
In it, Hilton lays out her point-by-point energy proposal, after reading an article on where to get the best tan. She muses about painting the White House pink, and then signs out with a semi-traditional campaign disclaimer.
“I’m Paris Hilton, and I approve this message — because I think it’s totally hot.”
The Web video was posted on the site Funny or Die, after Hilton’s representative and her mother both criticized McCain’s campaign for using her image in his ad.
After getting a chuckle from the video, McCain’s campaign released a statement.
“It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain’s ‘all of the above’ approach to America’s energy crisis - -including both alternatives and drilling. In reality, Paris Hilton may have a more substantive energy policy than Barack Obama,” spokesman Tucker Bounds said.
This is the first thing Paris has ever done that I've actually liked. At all. Ever. Kudos to her for swinging back with a counterpunch McCain never saw coming. Maybe his campaign advisors will start staying away from crap like they've been doing and focus on the issues instead. Nahhh....that ain't happening. Rovian hijinks ensue!

Does anyone know if its true that McCain called his wife the C word in front of reporters in the 90s?

There are a kabillion videos about it on Youtube. He reportedly also called her a "trollop". Twenty-three skiddoo, John! :hehe:

I'm not gonna front, Norman. Hilton's energy policy sounded more substantive, well thought out and clearly articulated than either Obama's OR McCain's. That's just sad.

I guess neither of you watched Obama's 30 minute speech on energy. Y'know, where Obama talked about limited drilling (what Paris suggested) and alternatives.

It's an awesome speech.

Paris summed up her energy policy, which was pretty damn comprehensive, in about ten seconds, so she still wins.

When I first watched her ad and her energy summary, in my head I thought "that's basically a summary of Obama's energy policy".

If Obama takes a dump in the woods, does he make a sound?

No - but kainedamo will still call it awesome.

That's a great idea for Obama's next campaign commercial. "Obama and Paris Hilton both support this energy policy and endorse this message." That should bring him a lot of votes.

I call it like I see it, Norman. I'm nowhere near Matt levels of bias-ness. Like when it seemed Obama did a turn around on his position in drilling, I said right here in this forum that I didn't think it was right. When Obama gave his energy speech, I realized he's talking about drilling in a limited sense, and the fact that there are places that are open for drilling right now but aren't being used, etc. The point is though, it is possible for me to believe Obama is wrong.

Norman, how do you feel about McCain's position on women's issues? I provided a number of interesting vids on the previous page. McCain putting his wife forward as a candidate in a misogonistic biker competition, McCain voting against family planning issues and being very level with Bush concerning contraception, McCain voting against women getting equel pay, etc.

The more I look it up, the more it seems Obama can tear McCain a new one concerning women's issues. McCain doesn't even have women's issues on his website whereas Obama does.
