I said thats who the ad is aimed at. I said the undecidedes will be the ones who buy into it. Perhaps you should finish the paragraph, my dear Jag.

I tend to nod off halfway through whatever you say. Kind of like most people do with McCain's speeches. :hehe:

I love that clip "The whole season, not just one day, the whole season." He should not try to improv. He should have a very tight script that he sticks to.

I disagree.....I think he should do it just has he has done most of his town hall meetings......make it a starke difference from what Obama does tonight.....

McCain is HORRIBLE reading off a teleprompter........he needs to do what he feels the most comfortable with......yes.....have on the teleprompter the major points he wants to make......but don't stand behind a podium and talk to the teleprompter.....

And as suspected, video has surfaced of Mitt Romney practically endorsing Obama at McCain's expense right after the Iowa Caucuses:

"He's a Senator-killer. He's going to take care of John McCain if he's our nominee."

Nicely done, Mitt! Now, McNopoly, go ahead and look like a damn fool for running ads with primary quotes against Obama from his fellow Democrats and then turning around and picking a running mate who was just as harsh in his criticism of you as Hillary or Biden were in their criticism of Obama. LOL.

LOL, another video surfaces:

Very similar comments, different setting.

John McCain has announced his Running Mate!!!
Wilford Brimley,
"He’s a former Marine and great guy and he’s older than I am, so that might work,” said the four-term Arizona senator who turns 72 on Friday

:hehe: Who's gonna believe it?

I don't understand why some people say how biased Fox News is, most of that Video was from Fox.

Its not going to affect the African American community though. This is for independents. To show how "civil," McCain is. And for every smart undecided voter who sees the charade, there will be ten who buy right into it.

Someone in another thread (Obama 2?) said that he shouldn't go after the "stupid" vote. I disagreed then and your post is why. He's gotta go after everyone. He's gotta pander to the stupids and speak to everyone else.

Points were McCain and Bush didn't agree on:

McCain fought for campaign finance reform — McCain-Feingold — that Bush resisted and ultimately signed because he had no choice.

McCain led the battle to restrict interrogation techniques of terror suspects and to ban torture.

McCain went with Joe Lieberman on a tough measure to curb climate change, something Bush denies is going on.

McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts when they passed.

McCain urged the Iraq surge, a posture Bush rejected for years before conceding its wisdom.

McCain favors FDA regulation of tobacco and sponsored legislation to that effect, a position all but a handful of Republican senators oppose.

McCain's energy bill, also with Lieberman, is a virtual blueprint for energy independence and development of alternate sources.

After the Enron scandal, McCain introduced sweeping reforms in corporate governance and legislation to guarantee pensions and prohibit golden parachutes for executives.

Bush opposed McCain's changes and the watered-down Sarbanes-Oxley bill eventuated.

McCain has been harshly critical of congressional overspending, particularly of budgetary earmarks, a position Bush only lately adopted (after the Democrats took over Congress).

McCain seems to keep changing his mind on how he feels about torture.

McCain went with Joe Lieberman on a tough measure to curb climate change, something Bush denies is going on.

McCain's voted against alternative energy plans again and again and again over his 26 years in office.

You can point out a handful of instances where McCain and Bush disagreed. But the facts don't like - McCain agrees with Bush 90% of the time.

I disagree. He's been very consistant.

McCain's voted against alternative energy plans again and again and again over his 26 years in office.

The Bush administration has spent more money on alternative energy research and exploration than all other Presidents in history combined. Were all alternative energy plans passed? No, but more were than ever before. Thus, your data is skewed.

Obama voted with McCain at least 90% of the time. What you don't understand is that only about 10% of what Senators vote on is actually meaningful. That 90% you keep referring to does not take into account MAJOR votes.

McCain also led the charge for a surge in Iraq, something Obama was opposed to. The very REASON why we're seeing success in Iraq, and the very reason the Iraqi government is only NOW talking about withdrawal is because that surge worked. And now Obama is trying to take credit for that!?

And I would like to add, that as everyone knows, well at least the educated, the President doesn't vote, so it is impossible for McCain or anyone to vote with Bush at all.

It's gonna be Palin.......

I'll be damned............how long ago did I start talking about her?

I honestly didn't think he would do it.....

Well................she is the best debater of the group he was looking at from what I'm hearing.....she's a woman........young.............

Wow..............................

and then again.....if it's not her..............................we have got to give McCain's campaign the high five for keeping it quiet....lmao.

Matt's getting his VPILF.

Hey, I was the one that mentioned her first.........BUT, as I said.......I'm surprised......

I'm thinking apparently from their inside polling, and what not........McCain is more worried about his conservative base than we thought.....

I talked with a few friends....from Alaska, way back when I first heard her name mentioned.........

She was sport's reporter, an excellent debater, and they use the word............BEAR when describing her........

And I just heard on TV that she's a hell of a basketball player.....LOL.

I'm amazed...............

Perino + Palin = Republican Hottie Heaven

LOL.................................I don't know that Perino would stay on.....she's actually done a really good job wrangling the press........IF McCain won, he might keep her.

Nah. She's gotta write a book about how evil the administration was. Of course she won't take any responsibility for anything she said. But she'll make a mint.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

It has been confirmed.....it is Palin.....

She and McCain will be on stage in 20 minutes......
