So the source is "The Press Office"'s Jim Della Croce?????

Who the hell are these people? lmao

Well...............................if true...........................that's just stupid.

I guess I'm about to put ol' Joe in the same category as the bald, toothless, shirtless guy in my community that, I swear, gets interviewed everytime the press comes to my neck of the woods.......

I thought Jim Croce was dead?

(Yes, I'm dating myself with that joke. :o )

jag

Oh lord, I was being sarcastic. Are you joking?

Nope! I've seen it mentioned on Hardball and The Situation Room a few times in the past week.

This is from the Washington Times:

Despite being arrears in taxes and potentially in violation of license laws for being a plumber — or maybe because of that — some folks say Joe the Plumber, real name Joe Wurzelbacher, is needed in Congress.

Yes, http://www.joewurzelbacher2010.com/ has already been registered by Trevor Lair, chairman of the Massachusetts Alliance of College Republicans.

"Washington DC is broken and it needs to be fixed, Joe Wurzelbacher has a real-world perspective and the right attitude to clean up the mess on Capitol Hill," Lair said. He wants to recruit Joe to run against Rep. Marcy Kaptur, a leader among progressive House Democrats.

Given Joe's treatment during his first, unwitting foray into politics, here's betting he takes a pass. Besides, if he does manage to buy the plumbing business, he might make more than members of Congress.

Apparently, he will be challenging Marcy Kaptur, who was elected in 1984 and has been re-elected every election with 70% of the vote...

:whatever: That is completely ludicrous. I want to meet these people who say Joe is needed in Congress.

It's funny to see Joe the Plumber (who doesn't have a plumbing license and has tax evasion charges) is being considered for running for the House. I guess they are lowering their standard all the time.

"You are all Joe" -John McCain

Speaking of Joe the Plumber:

:lmao:

Oh God...."What he's done for America"?

Joe the Plumber becoming a represented country singer who will run for an official political office? A....I.....I..../overloads *BOOOM*

What is it with McCain embarrassing himself onstage? Seems to be happening a lot during this campaign. Here's his latest gaffe:

I'm going to have to go with the combo of age and forgetfulness. My Grandma is 2 years older than him (he's 72 right?), and with all due respect (love my Grandma), she forgets things she did 5 mins ago constantly. She doesn't have alzheimer's or anything, but sometimes I wish I had a tape recorder so I can prove she said something, or something happened when just a few mins later she denies it up and down.

In McCain's case I've been noticing it all election year. He had to write down every question, and have a few repeated. That had me worried about his hearing and memory. However since then he's mixed up statements he had made before, and was shocked when Obama answered something the same he did in the 2 earlier debates. That could have been pressing a political tag line and ignoring facts, but now he's forgetting if his plants in the crowd are even there.

I think this is why having Palin as his veep is even more dangerous than they will have you believe. Schwarznegger said Palin can "learn on the job", but who knows if she will have time to do so?

Good lord, is he really going on the attack over the campaign financing issue? Does he really have nothing else to pull out?

IF McCain wins (but as far as I've followed the elections, all signs pretty much point to no?), I have a big feeling that he will pass away in his first term or something. 'Cause come on, the guy is 72, has had many skincancer surgeries and has to apparently take an incredible lot of different medicines.

That's one of the things I think most people are worried about. McCain dying and Sarah Palin taking over as President. I really believe when it comes down to it, people will vote for Obama because of that possibility alone. And I'm talking about people who would normally vote Republican.

I've had two "Robo-Calls" from the McCain camp in the last two days. One of them was Hank Jr calling for McCain. I hung up on both of them.:hehe:

I find it funny that McCain is fighting for votes here in W.Va.{The RedNeck capital of the world.} against a black man. Amazing, It makes me almost proud to live here.:woot:

He's basically putting out the greatest hits this week. Obama has been everything from a communist to a socialist to a terrorist to a fascist just this week along. How many more "ists" are they going to plug out in the last 4 days. So instead of using this valuale time to talk about actual policy, and his plans for the future of this country, McCain has decided to just attack attack attack. His campaign is truly embarassing.

I know this may be an old question, but whatever happened to Chuck Norris...meaning is he still voting Republucan after publicly bashing McCain during the primaries, when he was endorsing...*can't think of the candidates name right now*....
