Sorry, I know this is a Metallica thread but ********.

Don't care what you have to say but if you think Peace Sells was the only album that Mustaine had good lyrics on...you obviously never listened to them that much after that album.

I know everyone has different tastes and whatnot but that's one of the biggest BS statements I've read in a long time.

You just have to get used to some people on message boards who think that their opinion is actually the truth. Yes, it's frustrating but if you let people like that keep talking they usually make themselves look like dumbasses because they are usually talking out of their asses.

And what is it these days with people saying everything is emo? Suddenly everytime a white guy with a guitar sings a sad song or something with depressing lyrics and it's emo? I guess I missed the memo.

And I just read on Encyclopedia Metallica that they have posters advertising the new Metallica album at Billabong stores and it says "New Album in September". So we only have to wait the summer. I am definitely in the mood for some new Metallica.

And did anybody else hear the rumor that Metallica is going to be releasing a second album after the new one that will be completely free? A friend of mine was telling me that because Nine Inch Nails just did that. They released Ghost and then a month later Reznor put out a new album that is completely free. Just wondering...

I'd do like they do, and name it after one of their songs, but Death Magnetic just sounds... Emo, actually. It doesn't sound Metallica-ish to me at all.

I've been a very big Metallica fan for a long time now, and I sincerely believe that Death Magnetic is by far the worst name they've come up with.
