I love Hawaiian pizza. I love Buffalo Chicken pizza. I love BBQ chicken pizza. And I’m not ashamed of any of it.
In fact, tonight I got a pizza from Whole Foods.

And I love Batman AND Superman.

I’m crazy like that.

I've never associated any kind of shame with any pizza toppings or considered it even mildly odd behaviour. Go wild, go different, try them all! I was having pineapple and anchovies on pizza way before the internet was a thing and able to tell me that I was a heretic/outcast for doing so.

No joke, on the pamphlet for the pizza place I just ordered from, there was a pizza that included pineapple and fresh banana! Not banana peppers!

As a fellow (ex) New Yorker, I get what you are coming from. But I love my my big floppy NY cheese slice as much as I love a Hawain Pizza as much as I love as that boujee margherita pizza from Chelsea Market. I just love Pizza period lol.

Believe me, we have barely scratched the surface of foods I order in the most boring way.

My wife is the same way. Any kind of spice gives her heartburn and she loves the blandest of food. Which I know is learned from her mom who cooks that way. But she has told me recently that certain recipes she has had all her life that I started making she can't eat at her moms as easily anymore cause they don't taste the same anymore. And that's cause secretly, SF adds subtle flavors

I swear, fictional pizza just looked better in the 90’s. There’s an episode of BTAS, no clue which, where Bullock is eating the messiest, cheesiest-looking piece of pizza that just looks so good I absolutely MUST order pizza after watching it lol

There’s an episode of The X-Files where Scully is giving an autopsy and she notes the guy had pizza as his last meal and she gets hungry for it and even that gets me in the mood for some LOL.

Bad Blood! Vince Gilligan ep and one of the GOATS!!! And yeah, that pizza was actually drugged too, which is how the victims became victims, but it still looked good when Mulder ordered it.
