His history was known. Don't know how anyone was trying to defend him and even worse, calling for his return.
Do coffee shops let you bring your own tumbler for iced drinks?

There's no way this was the reason why he was left go, right?

Its why he lost his credits in season 2. I am curious what the guild rules are about this kind of thing. As Marvel didn't seem to have issues with his posts during the season.

Louder for the people in the back who continue to simp for this guy....

While no details of the cause of the termination or the internal reviews have surfaced, sources say it involved sexual misconduct.

Reminder that this is Henry Cavill's writer buddy who got fired from The Witcher for similar alleged reasons.

Oh that Roberto statement is RICH coming from a guy who essentially erased a character in order to have a comic accurate origin and not tarnish a guy character.

Madelyne Pryor. Rant in spoiler.

In the comics, yes, she was a clone of Jean. But she never thought she was Jean. She never had Jean's memories, never thought she was her. She and Scott get married in the comics and she gets pregnant with Nathan, aka Cable. And due to editorial mandates, with the creation of the X-factor book with the O5 X-men, Cyclops ups and leaves Maddie. Leading to her having a nightmare of a time with the X-men, finally culminating in Inferno.

Maddie is a character I've always been fascinated with, and Krakoa made me love her as a character, as it placed her actions in the context of being a victim, and one often ignored by those around her. Vita Ayala's story with her and Magik is wonderful. Hell, it is one female character Zeb Wells didn't ruin. But when I say there are things from the comic that shouldn't be adapted, Maddie is at the top.

They did not have to adapt that. They did not need comic accurate origin for Cable. Turning Inferno into a one episode downplays it as an event, hell, they even shifted focus of Inferno to Sinister, over Maddie. And one has to side eye them doing a version of Scott cheating on Jean with Emma with Maddie instead. But hey, screwing over Maddie for a man's story is kind of her thing.

And on a personal note, I have recently realized why her story may resonate with me more than in the past. So changing it in the way DeMayo has pissed me off.

I get Maddie is a c list character, that most people only care about because of her costume. But to me, it is on par of making Harley and Joker a real romance. [glares at Joker 2]

I figured there was something serious behind Beau's departure. Marvel knew X-Men 97 had solid hype behind it and fired him anyway. You don't do that before the debut of a potentially very successful show without a good reason. So this news doesn't shock me at all. I figured it had to be along these lines.

Finally gave this a watch in it’s entirety:

It wasn’t horrible, but it felt a bit rushed in eighty two minutes. I noticed some bits of dialogue were removed or truncated like Rorschach’s narration throughout the film. For the most part, J. Michael Stracynski did a decent job adapting the novel and its characters. I even liked that Tales of the Black Freighter was incorporated, same with bits of Under the Hood and Janey Slater’s interview during the credits.

The animation was a mixed bag, I enjoyed the colour palate and some shots looked great, while other shots just looked meh.

The voice acting was also a mixed bag. I thought Katee Sackhoff, Matthew Rhys, Troy Baker, Rick D. Wasserman all sounded good as Silk Spectre, Nite Owl, Ozymandias and Comedian. Michael Cerveris also sounded good as Manhattan, but lacked the intensity needed during the television interview.

Titus Welliver was also a mixed bag as Rorschach, sometimes he sounded good, but most of the time, he sounded like he was speaking his lines too quickly, showed too much emotion as the character in certain scenes and that voice just sounded forced. His voice sounded much better in the Crimebusters flashback and as Walter Kovacs.

Also really dug the score and sound design.

Will watch Chapter II, but can’t help but feel disappointed especially with the comic and HBO series.

I’d probably give this a 6 or 7/10.

Quick sidebar: why didn’t any of you guys ever tell me that food poisoning FEELS LIKE THIS.

I wouldn’t wish this feeling on my worst enemy. :csad:

And that Kraven trailer was certainly a trailer. I zoned out between the costume reveal and the Rhino.
I haven’t seen any update. Are you still alive?

Food poisoning is no joke. I’ve had it a few times. First time was with Papa John’s in high school. I actually had hallucinations. My mother later told me that I was yelling “tell that doctor over there that I will walk again! I’ll show you all! I WILL WALK AGAIN!”

Of course, there was no doctor in the room.
And no one was saying that I’d never walk again.

Papa John's: Not even once.

Never have I've been more glad to live in a state with a decent pizza place in a 15 minute radius.

We have tons of great pizza places.
Cheap pizza is a different story.

Papa John’s originated in Louisville, where I live. So in early 90’s we felt obligated to support it. Not really so much anymore though.

Going to watch the Snyder film adaptation next, and then finally the HBO series, the best for last.

Didn’t finish the Snyder film when it came out due to my parents being uncomfortable with sex scenes, and also because I wouldn’t stop giggling every time Manhattan was nude. I was 12 years old and very immature when it came out! :funny:

To be fair, nude Doctor Manhattan I still think is funny lol! Watch the Pitch Meeting for Watchmen. One of the best ones lol

They just advertised a pizza place near me on GMA. We have so many pizza places that we actually are super picky of where we go.

I read the alleged leak for Kang Dynasty, and I aint gonna lie it actually sounded kind of awesome. So I am a bit sad it's not happening now and instead we are getting....this lame as hell and super rushed Doctor Doom thing.

I also thought it sounded pretty cool. I wonder why they didn’t recast Kang when they did the same with Banner, Ross, Rhodes, and a bunch of other characters.
