There really isn't a benefit to not putting it out Tuesday. You can still put a 30 sec ad during the Super Bowl and have a full trailer announcement on it. So you get the Super Bowl eyeballs regardless

I’m a DC guy through and through and I guess I should be more excited for Superman but I’m actually more stoked for F4 just because we might see the team finally be done justice. We’ve had good Superman movies before, but we’ve never had a good FF movie before and the fact we might finally get one after all these years is exciting. Can’t wait!

I’m a DC guy through and through and I guess I should be more excited for Superman but I’m actually more stoked for F4 just because we might see the team finally be done justice. We’ve had good Superman movies before, but we’ve never had a good FF movie before and the fact we might finally get one after all these years is exciting. Can’t wait!

I am still super salty about Dr Doom, but I am hopeful for a FF movie to FINALLY be good. Even if I am never getting a good FF vs Doom film. I am super stoked for the FF movie at least

After all the talk about it last week, I re-watched The Marvels again and it is a good little movie. I would take it over a few other MCU movies any day.

My only real problem with it is Carol was able to have Thanos on his knees needing the power stone to beat her. Yet Carol couldn't lay a decent punch on Dar Benn. However that was a problem Marvel created before The Marvels even went into production.

I get less sympathetic with estates trying to milk it. And this whole lawsuit reeks of getting a quick payoff. Cannot wait for the Tolkien Estate to become irrelevant.



Nah, WB understandably thought the the copyrights were settled. The key dates for this suit were 2017 and 2021. Since this is the Schuster estate, 2017 is the important date. So this suit could have been brought anytime since then, whenever WB had a Superman product being sold in those territories. This reeks of getting a quick payoff to avoid bad press during the release of this movie.

The original creators getting a great deal I’d get out to bat for, as I’m sure most fans would. The long term estate throwing their weight around and threatening restrictions that affect underlying fans, not so much. Totally agreed on the Tolkien estate.

True but I don’t feel we’ve had a good modern Superman movie (unlike Batman where we’ve had good films old, new and in-between) which is a travesty given how important a character he is.

I’m totally stoked for F4 regardless and there are at least some hints it’s going to be different to what came before.

That was one of my biggest gripes with the movie. The MCU presented Carol as that powerful and yet she needed two people (one of them being a teenager) to beat such a milk toast villain?
