Thanks for ruining my day.

What next? Are you going to tell me that there’s no Santa Claus? That Michael Jordan had a gambling problem? That Tiger Woods was a womanizer?
He's a director now so he's above the plebian writers.

No more clips or trailers Born Again for me but I've pretty much loved everything I've seen and heard so far and them moving ahead so fast on Season 2 is a great sign of real confidence.

I really hope this show lands man and we finally get some more positive momentum going for the MCU again since BNW was such a thud IMO.

We really need this going into Thunderbolts and FF4 even if those don't have anything to do with show itself but more quality MCU products don't exactly hurt either and can only help at this point.

Well damn:

Talk about Hulk Smash.
Thank goodness no one got hurt, but maybe I was badly in need of a laugh because the "two people in attendance" got me bad. I've sometimes glanced at cinema ceilings and wondered what if... Might be thinking about it more in the future.

Maybe I'm finally turning bitter, but almost all of this sounds like varying degrees of dreadful. Simon Kinberg is writing a TRILOGY? What could've possibly gotten him that gig? I'm not running in excitement for The Mandalorian film after a lackluster season 3 and the increasing reliance on stuff from the cartoon. The New Jedi Order is on its fourth writer? Great... James Mangold's film could be something, but who knows? Lando, a streaming series, turned into a movie. I'm not expecting much as of right now. Dave Filoni's Endgame sounds like hell on wheels conceptually, and it's the last thing I want from Star Wars. Taika Waititi hasn't been very reliable as of late, but maybe he could bounce back. More Ragnarok, less Love and Thunder, hopefully. Shawn Levy's Star Wars? At this point, why not? Perhaps a director as bland and harmless as Levy is what Star Wars needs to silence some of the anger in the fanbase. I couldn't be less excited about it, though. Rogue Squadron isn't happening. Rian Johnson I'd rather see him do anything else, but then again, if he has a fresh idea, I'm up for it.

This looks like a grim slate to me, but hopefully I'm entirely wrong. I just feel like my eyes have finally opened, and I have to accept that beyond Andor, Star Wars is extremely washed up, once again.

I very much doubt that Rian Johnson trilogy is still happening.
I'd take Rian over Simon, though. 😭

Out of all of those, I'm most interested in Lando and frankly I'm surprised it's still going forward. Mangold's Dawn of the Jedi and Rogue Squadron could be promising if they happen.

Every single one of these sounds terrible, tbh. Mangold's might be the best thing there, but given his track record of studio driven movies... bleh.

No bueno to any of that. I hope that considering the Mando movie is guaranteed to be absolute garbage, it kills off the franchise for a long time.

I just don't care about any of it lol

Surprised you guys aren't atleast excited about the Rey spinoff.

Thought yall wanted her to be more fleshed out and have more to do?

Given how critically acclaimed Andor is, and how successful Rogue One is... why is Tony Gilroy not spearheading the next big Star Wars trilogy? Why are they giving that to Simon Kinberg?
