I really really wanna know what the Heck went thru that Marvel concept artist’s mind leaking all that stuff. This had to have been some disgruntled employee who thought they’d get back Marvel, right? Thats the only thing I can think of why someone would so willingly tank their career.

I don't think it was her. You couldn't access the page without a direct link, so it was probably someone else working for her that leaked it.

Nah there is no way Feige wanted some of this kind of stuff to get out. This was pure negligance on someone’s part.

Their Captain America (Leader of the Avengers) film just flopped...they desperate.

So they are trying to create buzz more than a year out? Yeah don’t buy it.

StackTV here in Canada is a treasure trove of animated DC superhero content :yay:

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One

Full disclosure: I've never read the famous comics storyline by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez this film is based on.

I wasn't the biggest fan of this, to be honest. It certainly didn't help that I watched it in such close proximity to My Adventures with Superman, a show so relatively vibrant and 'alive' that it made Crisis seem a bit drab by comparison. The animation was serviceable at best, the characterizations were so rudimentary they almost verged on cliché, and having no experience with the source material, I found the narrative a bit confusing...

Having said that, I still found the film to be somewhat enjoyable. As I've said here multiple times, my knowledge of DC lore is seriously lacking compared to my Marvel experience, so it was fun seeing characters I've never been exposed to like Monitor, Amazo, Martian Manhunter, Psycho Pirate, Mister Terrific, Dawnstar, Doctor Light, Huntress, Question, Iris West, Johnny Quick, Spectre, Owlman, Vixen, and the various Lanterns interact for the fist time...

Oh well I started this series, may as well continue on with Parts 2 & 3 :hehe:

I dont either. Somehow its hard for me to believe that marvel’a top brass told some random concept artist to leak a bunch very spoilery pieces of art to “build hype” for their most important movie.

Somebody screwed up, plain and simple.

Damage control marketing...they know hype is no where near Infinity wars/endgame levels
I have my issues with the MCU and Disney as of late, but your whole shtick of going into threads and doing the equivalent of rubbing your hands together and gleefully relishing in wanting to see these things fail has gotten really, really old.

A lot of people on this is board usually have pretty constructive criticism towards something if it’s not good, but you just spam the same thing ad nauseum without even trying to engage in the discussion at hand. If all you’re going to do is just be negative about this stuff just to get a rise out of everyone, why don’t you go into a different thread and actually be positive about something that you enjoy for once?

Especially since some of these concept arts never make it in the film. It’s cool to see if you are into spoilers but has no effect on the outcome of the success of the movie. You want hype? Release a trailer

Again, hear me out.

No one going to mention the Oscar Memorial Service for Bond. :o

Intentional leak or not, I smell more desperation and it’s very funny.

Now now..lets lay off the MCU and their conveniently leaked images...lets get back to making fun of Aqua Bro and Black Adam instead

I don't believe in that the leaks were intentional either since it just doesn't make much sense. I haven't seen them but I've gathered that there is concept art of Doom, which is really something that mostly just excites comic fans, which aren't that big of a part of the audience for the biggest films. I'm quite sure the idea of RDJ being a villain is a bigger deal than Doom as a character with the GA right now. It also doesn't make much sense to create hype for Doomsday now since the general audience don't keep hype for that long. If they did they would release trailers much earlier than they do (and we still see criticism that companies release trailers unnecessarily early and waste hype).

It's also very hard to say what hype there will be for the upcoming Avengers films since those films always completely dominate everything else in the MCU (save for NWH). Maybe the audience is tired of it all, or maybe they'll come back when the property is called "The Avengers". Even Internet activity isn't all that secure as evidence as Deadpool & Wolverine had a far more viewed trailer in the first 24h than Endgame did, and yet Endgame almost earned D&W's entire BO in a single weekend.

Marvel is guaranteed to not be happy with their current position but to say that they are desperate to hype Doomsday right now, and with a little concept art leak at that, just isn't very logical.
