I thought Real Steal was good. But it did have the future writers of Nightcrawler and Kong: Skull Island on it as scriptwriters, so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much.

The concept is very familiar. I watched Sly do the same movie with arm wrestling. It was also better.
Over The Top didn't. Not by itself. It was the combo of that, Masters of the Universe, and Superman IV all flopping that did. Cannon tried to go too big and reached beyond their means

I'm a movie about arm wrestling starring Rocky. It's easily better then 90% of the MCU on that basis. Cobra is of course better then the entire MCU.
I enjoyed her character a lot, but it was just a case of the perfect fit because what made Betty interesting is how she looked the part of the perfect housewife of that era but had this eerily aloof and empty vibe. At the time, we just thought that was acting.

I Liked both of the Stallone films in question. Saw them both twice.
