Yeah apparently they do or did own stock in the company that makes Arm & Hammer
And supposedly elder Armand Hammer at one point try to buy it outright because people kept getting confused about it and thinking he was the owner
but the product came out decades before he was even born

You just unlocked a memory for me. When I was little I had that Stretch Armstrong villain toy, Vac Man. Dude, the commercial was like you could pump him up and stretch him to hell, but as soon as I tried that with the actual toy, that damn thing broke!

I somehow sent away for a Zartan action figure because it was supposed to turn blue in the sunlight. But it would only turn slightly darker orange when you left it in the sun for 4 hours.
