I wasn't watching Smackdown (no UPN) at the time, so... did this ever make air or was it just edited out when it aired? They taped Smackdown exclusively right up until it moved to the USA Network in 2016.

Finally caught the F4 trailer. It looks delightful. Gotta admit, the pregnancy reveal and Johnny being the best uncle ever got me all warm and fuzzy. This looks like a real breakout role for Vanessa Kirby; I like that she appears to be kind of the anchor of the group and the real leader. I was iffy on Ben keeping his real voice but the more I hear of it, the more I dig it. You don’t hire a guy as talented as Ebon to grunt for an entire movie lol. And Pedro is great in everything; so much so that he might finally make me give a crap about Reed.

The effects on Silver Surfer need a little work but I’m excited to see what Julia brings to the role. And the overall 60s aesthetic is beautiful. I know everyone wants to pit F4 against Superman but I think both films look to be bringing something that’s both fresh and familiar to the ailing superhero genre and so I'm rooting for a Barbenheimer situation where they both break a billion.

Frank Quitely drawing David Corenswet’s Superman in the style of that famous opening double page splash panel? I recognize that art anywhere.

I may not like ROTSS, but Doug Jones/Laurence Fishburne were awesome as Silver Surfer.

He is probably the only saving grace of that otherwise tepid film.
